It's a decent hostel with a good location (it takes only 5 minutes to the nearest metro stop, which takes you to the city center). The hostel lacks some hostel flair, in fact it reminds you more of a youth hostel. If you want to save 5 euro for a towel or 3 euro for a hairdryer you should bring your own stuff. Also the kitchen is not very well equipped. All in all you get what you pay for.
The staff don't really make an effort to help you a lot if you don't speak italian, other than that, everything, from size, security, and cleanliness is just fine; not great but nor bad as well... It is close to the station as well so I think it's worth the price though.
It is probably the best hostel I've ever been to. And if one day I come back to Milan, I will definitely stay there. However the staff at the reception is a real joke. There's a 24 hour reception which is pretty cool but the staff isn't helpful at all. They don't want to help you and show it. The morning receptionist contrasted with the others as he was very polite and always checked if we were ok. I would recommend 100% as you book a room/a bed not the reception
We stayed two nights, pretty average. Bunks are sort of odd (the top one needs a guardrail or something. Very easy to fall off and little privacy) and the directions are terrible on foot!! Print map out for easy arrival.
We have a normal stay. They have big lockers and clean bathrooms.
The hostel offer a good value for money but have serious lacks such as missing kitchen things (cutlery, appliances, etc.). They also don't offer breakfast (even paid) and the security is not that good. But the basic is there and you won't regret of staying with them.
This hostel facilities are good but just some easy things should be improved: for example toilet doors are strange ('far west' type), no fixation for the roll paper in toilets, the kitchen is large but with no maintenance, the wood chairs in the long corridor just invite you NOT to sit, not even cheap soap in toilets, hangers for perching clothes. It's a pity, because the place is itself large, comfortable, I think here lived religious sisters, so it's well kept. The staff was correct.
This is a standard hostel, nothing special so it's hard to knock or praise it. If you just need a bed to sleep in then it's fine, but if you want a classic hostel vibe then not much going on here. Beds were comfortable, cleaning crews came through every day, candy by the pound at front desk (wtf? we got gummy worms - they were hard), lounge areas on each floor furnished with stiff chairs and tables made of barrels. Location meh, what is that a soup kitchen next door, metro close enough.
A distance away but don't think there are many hostels closer in Milan either. The kitchen had fridge and stove but very limited cooking equipment. No knives pots plates anything to cook with that we found. Staff were helpful but didn't feel much atmosphere.
Friendly staff but they were more interested in watching tv than talking to guests and to come with recommendations. kitchen was poorly equipped. No glass or cutlery. Not too many good bars or restaurants nerby. The good thing was that my dorm had 3 bathrooms!
Very clean, the employees are kind and gives good suggestions. The bed were comfortable. The only thing missing was a cool atmosphere.
I lost one of my favorit jackets in the laundry, and sent an E-Mail to the New Generation Hostel if it was found and after 10 days I'm still waiting for any kind of responds... The Hostel was all in all average but with the described service I cannot recommend this hostel at all. Max

The hostel was perfect, the only thing it was not good enough was the wifi, but was okay. They could offer the towels and would be even better.
I got what I paid for: a safe and clean place to sleep. The staff were friendly, the price reasonable, and the stay was comfortable. Would recommend for future travelers. Plus, the wifi is free and of acceptable quality.
Ottimo!

Reasonably priced especially in Milan. The address given was wrong, I had a difficulty finding the place at night but I manage to find it after awhile. It was about 10 mins walk to the metro but a bit far from the city centre. The problem I had was the shower as it was almost see through but male and female showers are separate. Bed was comfortable just sleeping on the top bunker, was feeling insecure as there were no railings. Overall, it was a good stay here
a real pity of a place. near milano central, just 3 metro stops away but the place lacks any charm or atmosfere. they did not turn on the heather and it was really cold, no internet to use, no breackfast, noisy as they dont have doublé window sistem and it face a big Street, very por equiped kitchen and they have the goal to ask for 4 euros to have plate and cutlery to use a real robery and the most miserable thing i so in a hostel. also hair dryers and few other things were extra.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there ! Elevators and nice staff , stylish interior and not far from metro ! And the price was great!!

With a few more homely touches to make it possible for people to just hang out and socialise the place would be very good. Overall quality of rooms etc is good but the kitchen lacked some basic utencils for self catering.
Nothing really wrong with the hostel, basically very average. Not in the best part of town, but was a few blocks from the Metro, which helped. Maybe late September is a slow time for them, we only saw maybe 5 other people while we were there, not nothing going on. Basically, a typical hostel at a typical price. Stayed in a 6 bed dorm. Lockers inside room locked, bathroom was old, but fine- hot water, most toilets had seats, etc.
