The hostel is well located, near the train station and 15 minutes walk to the city center. The staff was very friendly and helpful. However, that's it, we make reservation for a double bed room, but when we arrive they gave us a bunk bed which was very uncomfortable, considering that we are a couple on vacations, they offered try to change us the next day, but when you are staying three nights in each place, you don wanna have to pack everything and change room again. .
Cleanliness would be higher but for one thing. Hostel has been aware of this issue and had said they are fixing this so no need to discuss further on this forum
Damp Sheets, Damp room, Leaking Bathroom, Bed Bugs / Fleas. VERY rude staff member by the name of Joel. ( and that is being polite! The lady who checked us in was the only nice thing about this place(don't remember her name) Left after 1 night, owner reluctantly gave us not even half of our money back in the end, however it was just drama from the very start. Left and found accommodation elsewhere. I wouldn't recommend this at all. Even if you have no money to spend on a bed.. BOOK ELSEWHERE!!!
The location is perfect! it takes only 5-10min from the station(Firenze S.M.N). You know there're lot's of hotels near the station, however it's hard to find economy one like here.
The connection of wifi is very poor and unstable. Room is full of mosquitoes. They are very near to the train station but far from main sites.
The staff was poor except for Carlos, the room that we paid was ensuite and this wasn't real.
It is close to the main train station, but far from interest points in Florence. My group had its own bedroom in the building across the street - clean, spacious good beds. The bathroom was not shared but not ensuite either. The worst thing is costumer service, since the owner and his wife are very unprofessional. They ignored us for a bit, didn't register one of my friends, kept getting the price division wrong and when we explained they bad mouthed us in Italian like we couldn't understand.
A good place to stay if you want somewhere close to Train Station and cheap enough. It is about 10 min walk from the train station and 16 Euro is the lowest price I can fin in this area. There is private toilet/bathroom inside but it is smelly. They have about 17 rooms in 2 buildings. I don't find security an issue but there might be some noise in the night as it is close to the railway - it is not a problem for me at all. :)

This hostel was a little hard to find but it has a great location. It was a lot like a hotel.
We did not like the idea that we had to stay in a separated building, since in there we did not have access to the kitchen , we had to cross the street in order to prepare our breakfast; anyway I would come back again because is very well located.

Cancelled our reservation without any alternative.
I had a great time at New Hostel! It's not too far from the train station nor the main square. Everything is pretty much walking distance. The place as a whole was clean and organized. I couldn't get a good wifi signal in my room but that isn't necessarily a terrible thing. Conner at the front desk was great, super friendly and hospitable.
there wasnt breakfast , free luggage was limited until 14 hs, for kitchen only had a microwave and a frigobar,
I thought this hostel was very good value by Florence standards - where all hostels are a little more expensive. I had a big clean bed in a 4 bedded room which was well furnished, had good size bathroom and metal lockers to store your stuff if you want. This hostel does not serve breakfast - but you can get a cheap coffee and cake just down the street so it’s no big deal. The hostel also had 3 nice places to sit and meet other people, 2 outside and 1 nice room inside. Definitely stay here again
Friendly staff and atmosphere, good location a short walk from the station. Lots of food options around the hostel.
Its pretty good for an italian Hostel, though being in rooms on the other side of the road isnt that nice. Being able to park the car in front of the hostel is amazing!
easy walk from the main train station. my only suggestion is they provide a proper kitchen area so guests can clean up after themselves when we use the microwave and dinning table, because it was so dirty and sticky, but there was no way people could clean up their own mess. and soap in the bathroom would make a more pleasant stay. also paying for luggage storage after check out is a bit a of joke. but overall a good place to stay.
