Chunking Mansion certainly has 'character'.. if you want a real adventure head to Chunking Mansion. I stayed for 5 nights with my girlfriend. Following the instructions, and with my previous knowledge of the Mansions, there were no problems finding the place. Rooms are small and ordinary, with very clean bathrooms. Front door is locked at midnight, and there is no through-traffic on the floor. Friendly staff, rooms cleaned daily. Would recommend to seasoned travelers on a budget, but not to a couple looking to get away. It's a clean place to sleep and drop your bags. I'd stay again.I stayed for 5 nights with my girlfriend. Good location, near to MTR station and Harbour City. The owner Mrs Kam is very helpful to give us direction. However have to beware of touts down around that area that really annoyed us. It's in the Chunking Mansions, with all the pros and cons that has. The touts at the bottom are annoying.
