Clean, convenient and the room was bigger than expected. The staff spoke English and was very helpful answering questions and giving directions. Reasonably close to subway and train stations, (walked with a backpack suitcase); a bit further to museums and zoo. Ueno was a fun area to walk through in the evening, and had lots of restaurants. Hotel was on a street that was very quiet. Definitely recommend. Clean, convenient and the room was bigger than expected. The floor had uneaten peanuts on it and the bed made me deathly allergic. Also, I couldn't bring a local friend up to my room to look at pictures due to a no visitors policy. It Japan. Nice hotel in a great location, very near Ueno station. Only stayed one night but one bed in our three bed room was just a sofa-bed... not the most comfortable but ok.Nice hotel in a great location, very near Ueno station. Located in one of the more quiet areas of Tokyo but close to metro which is really your access to Tokyo transportation. Good jazz bar just around the corner. Also walk the fun street around Ueno station. We had a good size room that was very clean.
