Only ever saw the staff on arrival and departure. Internet was not working. Never saw the living area. I think you be better renting this out to a family who would use the whole property. I didn't get what I expected as per the advertising.

Pretty good location (10 minute walk from the train station and to the centre of town). The staff was really good to us and the rooms were decent and clean. Very quiet since there werent many people staying when we were there.

- Washrooms were dirty and one toilet did not flush. - Handsoap and toilet paper were not available - Rooms were extremely cold. - Advertised on Hotelworld and brochure that there was a continental breakfast. There was none offered. - Common room area is the owners personal living room with all of his kids toys lying around. Internet only available in the living room/common room area and not in the building across the street where we stayed. Poor service, owner was not understanding at all.

Perfect location from the train station and downtown Florence only a few minutes walk. The rooms were clean, and nice, but it got a bit too cold at night, and the heaters didn't seem to work.

We stayed in a twin private with shared bathroom which was across the road from the main hostel. It was very clean and the beds were so comfortable. We could also use the kitchen which was good. The room was cold but there was plenty of blankets on the beds. The free wifi worked pretty good too, even across the street!

Really enjoyed our stay here. Very clean and relatively quiet. Kids out in the lobby playing with toys too early though and making noise (think they were the owner's children.) We ended up taking a taxi to the attractions, but there was a train nearby. Restaurants within walking distance and a safe neighborhood to park our car apparently, since it was not stolen. Hostel does offer 3 parking spots. Would definitely stay here again.

I was given a room which was in a different building where there was no WiFi. So I had to carry my laptop to the hostel proper to get online and sometimes found the gate closed. This is my chief complaint. Otherwise this is decent place to stay.

We reserved a dorm and you gave us an apartment for the same price that was amazing. It had a courtyard, kitchen, and nice bathroom (huge shower). They provided an invaluable map, we found excellent food, interenet, and recommedations. The staff was amazing, gave us a corkscrew, let us leave the key super early, and answered stupid tourist questions good naturedly. Thank you again, it was a good stopover.

Good place to stay for short-time. The room was a little too small and lots of mosquitos were there!!! The location was not so bad - close to SMN train station. Staff was helpful.

The atmosphere is good, as well as the location (8 minutes walk from the train station, 15 minutes from the main historical sites) ; the staff is very friendly, and the air-conditionning is very useful in summer. Although the twin private ensuite room was not perfectly clean (leak in the bathroom, for instance), we would recommend it to anyone spending no more than 3 nights in Florence. A good hostel overall!

This place was great value and was only a short walk from the main train station. Our room was a good size with a private bathroom. The aircon comes on at night automatically and there was free wifi. The staff were friendly and helped recommend some places to eat. There was also a common room and vending machine. Our shower was handheld only (the holder had broken off),

Very cheep, sadly the standart offered is exactly what you paid for. Would rather paid a bit more to have some better conditions, as not so nosy all the day and night (from the traffic). Stuff was nice and helpful, even if a bit unorganised.

Looks dodgy at first but it wasnt a bad stay. (smells funny) The directions are complicated to find, but it is close to the train station. nice spaced out rooms (no bunk beds!), airconditioning from 10pm, internet was fine but a bit slow, was a really pleasant stay here.

So many mosquitos and staff are not friendly either. we have only one plug-in a three person room. You need to charge more than one mobile you are out of lucky.

I believe everything was ok with this hostel. The only bad experience was the fact that the cleaning lady took my bathing bag out of the room and left it on the common living room and some of the stuff inside disappeared and was returned the next day.
