Clean, nice, value for money. The staffs are really friendly and helpful. The only bad thing is wifi reception not strong enough. I can only use it in common room, not in my own room.

Very nice hostel, very good insallations. Not too close to the city center, but you can get there in about 20 minutes by foot. It's located near the train station, witch is really convenient. The room was very confortable, and it was perfectly clean.

This was a good hostel! An easy walk from the train station and from the main part of town. Our room was quite spacious, comfortable and clean:)

Normal hostel. It has two distintc places, our group got separated, but the other building was very near. One of the buildings had a odd smell. The pictures in hosteworld are better than reality. Not very clean, our sheets add some yellow stains.

Quite near the station, transport convenient. However, rooms are seperated from the reception so that no wifi there. Bathrooms are tiny, not very comfortable while taking a shower. Also, the stream wasn't steady ,turning suddenly cold... The biggest problem is the noise from the main street outside and closing the windows made no sense. By the way, payment by credit card would charge you 3 per cent for service fee, which was a little weird.

thye location was fine and there was free internet which is always good!!! staff didnt care if you paid later but it wasnt near most other hostels and you had to cross a reallyyyy busy street at night which is scary when youre drunk haha. there was also an old guy in my room so beware of no age limit. if you made friends the place was great but it didnt encourage being social. there was a place to hang out inside and outside which was great! so if youre going in a group this place is great

The staffs were nice. We loved the living room, a good place to meet other backpackers/travellers and make friends. We met Brad, hi Brad! Internet wasn't available in the room, but it's available in the cosy living room, though. There's a halal shop near the hostel, and the beriyani rice with chicken was really nice! Overall, the hostel : good spot, quiet and friendly environment.

I stayed in the other side, and whilst some here have said it's not as good as the main part of the hostel, I found the long term guests here really friendly and lovely people. Having dinner cooked for me at least once, these guys were great. Front room was a little noisy from the main road. Well equipped kitchen, and the apartment and room had locks. Lockers in each room. One shower, but never was an issue for me. Laid back easy going staff, and 5-10 mins fast walk from main train station.

A kitchen would be handy. Location, staff, wifi and price make this a great place to stay.

I recommend all of my friends New Ostel when they visit at Firenze. It located near the station, and you can use Internet smoothly. At the salon, you can exchange some information with other tourists, and the owner also gives you useful information if you ask. Vi raccomando "New Ostel" quando cercate l'alloggio vicino della stazione Firenze.S.M.N. Internet funziona bene,e proprietari sono simpatici.

The hostel is very good, but the staff was not very well-trained. They failed to inform us on where to go at night for example. It is close to the train station what is not the best area, but since Florence historic area is so small you can go around quite easily staying there. I walked everywhere from the hostel and had no problems with it.

Overall a good experience, just a couple of suggestions: -Make it clear when showinOverall a good experience, just a couple of suggestions: -Make it clear when showing the prices in the website that an additional charge of city tax will be included (in many countries this does not apply and is shocking for some tourists) -Make it clear in the website that upon arrival the oinly paying method is cash -Have available (whether free or for sale) some earplugs, in case there are snoring roommates...
