The staff are super nice and help you with anything you may need. It is located close to the train station but a bit of a walk to the centre of town. A nice clean little hostel :)

Higly recommend this place! Very nice staff! They give you recommendations in terms of where to go and visit. Very helpful and considerate! Very good location, walking distance to the train station and the city center. The security was very good. They have staff at the counter 24/7. I left my stuff in the hostel and went out late night and everything was just fine. I was there for two days and had a great time staying in New Ostel. Can't wait to come back again! A.

Unfortunately the conditions and facilities offered by this hostel are quite poor. The room did not look good and the smell inside the room made us keep the windows open all day. The sheets were clean, but the blankets not. The bathroom was not in a very good shape either, due to the low quality of materials they used. moreover the bathroom was practically built inside the room. If they want tourists to go back they should really improve, as I wouldn\'t stay there again.

The place was located near the train station - which was very nice! The area was small anyway, so everything was walkable. The staff were great, I had spoke with them a lot, they were really great and helpful when we needed something (also, showing us sites around on the map). The only problem was, that the area stank a bit... of mold. But after getting used to it, it was really okay :)

It was very clean and safe, also in a very good location. If you stay for a week in Florence its a perfect place.

Very convenient small practical hotel good located near central station with 24/24 reception, fits especially budget travellers. They don't serve breakfast but you can enjoy good capuccino and stuffed cornetto at Deanna cafe on piazza stazioni just for 2 euros ! ;-)

Room was clean but loud water pipes and strong odor in bathroom, likely related to pipes or leak? But the bathroom itself was very clean and tidy. Overall a nice place to stay with friendly staff and a short walk to the central train station.

If you are looking for frills, it is not going to work for you. But, if you just like something simple and a good value for your money, it is perfect. It is literally 2 min from the train station and an easy walk from the beach. There are computers available as well as wifi, and there is lots of space for hanging out in common areas. I stayed here at an off-peak time, so my room was only half-full, which was great. There is a kitchen in the hostel and a grocery store next door.

Friendly, helpful staff, full of information and knowledge on the area. Relaxed atmosphere, with lovely sun terrece and free tea/coffee to enjoy. However as a girl travelling alone i was not totally comfortable with the location at night, although perfect during the day.

It's near from central station but in quiet area. I could go to everywhere I wanted to go on my foot. The staffs were very kind, showed me nice place to see on a map although I didn't ask:-) Also they are goon in information to enjoy eating in Firenze!! I'll stay this hostel if I come again.

Nightmarish! the only staff member is never there so if you need help...zith anything, forget it. i was supposed to have a ten bed dorm but ended up being in an unheated single in zero degree weather. there is no wifi...he said the weather interrupted service. Who knows. Close to SNM station...and this is its only redeeming factor.

Only ever saw the staff on arrival and departure. Internet was not working. Never saw the living area. I think you be better renting this out to a family who would use the whole property. I didn't get what I expected as per the advertising.

Good hostel!

Pretty good location (10 minute walk from the train station and to the centre of town). The staff was really good to us and the rooms were decent and clean. Very quiet since there werent many people staying when we were there.

- Washrooms were dirty and one toilet did not flush. - Handsoap and toilet paper were not available - Rooms were extremely cold. - Advertised on Hotelworld and brochure that there was a continental breakfast. There was none offered. - Common room area is the owners personal living room with all of his kids toys lying around. Internet only available in the living room/common room area and not in the building across the street where we stayed. Poor service, owner was not understanding at all.

The owners are super friendly!! Room is cleaned everyday. The location is great, very near to the train station. Definitely recommend!!!

we think that you can do a best work with the things that you have. FOr instance, you can fix your shower curtains. In our room, that was very short as a consequence the floor was wet after a shower. The beds and pillows were EXCELLENT, but cleanliness was very poor.
