I stayed at New Ostel for three nights in December. The staff were riendly, especially Joe and Christina, the rooms and common spaces were clean and orderly, and although it was cold while I was there, blankets were provided to keep us warm. Despite my positive experience at New Ostel, the location is a 20-minute walk from the Duomo, even if it is only five minutes away from the train station. Also, the shower did not provide constant access to water/hot water. But you get what you pay for!

I stayed in a female dorm for a night. the room was okay: cold inside, bathroom colder than the room, poor light. I tend to stay in hostel, I've visited lots of cities in Europe but this one was not so good as expect. If you want to stay in a cheap hostel, it's good for you.
