I will happily stay here again when I'm in town. However, having had no curfew in 45 years, I missed my curfew! When I realized I needed to return by ten o'clock sharp, I cut my plans short and zoomed back to the hostel. Dorm lodgers don't get house keys--only private lodgers. Feels like steerage class on Titanic enduring locked gates while first class roams free. I suggest a compromise: Offer house keys with a huge security deposit ($200?); I would pay that and enjoy my dorm room and freedom.

The reviews don't mention how weird this hostel is. It has a 10 pm curfew, strictly enforced. I returned to the hostel at 9:30 PM but they didn't notice, so I got a call on my phone at exactly 9:59 pm inquiring where I was, as the door to the hostel would be closed at 10 PM. If you want to get something out of your car at 10:01 you can't There are notes everywhere: no drugs, no smoking, no talking after 10 pm, etc, and I counted 10 surveillance cameras. Seems as if it is run by a cult.
