very good: the tram was right in front of the hostel, the staff was very friendly though they hardly spoke English, the room was very quiet not good: the bathroom didn´t smell good, there was glass in the wall so there was also light in our room when someone used the bathroom

I would definitely NOT recommend this property to anyone. We had lots of problem with the room. BATHROOM: smelled like sewage, there was no door!, the door of the shower cabin was broken, the toilet from time to time spontaneously flushed itself, there was an unrecognized bell (maybe doorbell) inside which rang early in the morning. ROOM: the fridge didn't work properly and as there was no plug behind it we had to plug it in the bathroom, no dustbin?, smelly cupboard, bed felt like a V, no maps.

Excellent position (300mt from S.Pietro square and 10mt from metro/underground Ottaviano), it has a small elevator (useful for suitcases at 3rd floor). Room was dirty and odoruos but also the hallway and the bath was very minimal. On the other hand the bedroom forniture was new :) . Poor breakfast ... without room (only 1 round table)... only croiassant packaged and coffe (if not finished... :) ) If you find a very good price and you're able to adapt it'll be ok otherwise not suggested

We stayed in a private room. It was okay. Clean clothes for the bed but the rest was quite dirty. Breakfast included so precarious. It was a croissant and a "shot" of café. Anything else, no option. Good location and very good privacy.

The hostel(if you can call it that since it only had one room) was dirty, smelled like sewage, the sheets and blankets had hair on them and you instantly felt dirty and sick because of the smell. It didn't feel safe since the owners living room was right outside the door and the smell of their dog and bird was also disgusting. The bird woke us up at five in the morning with constant screeching like a firetruck. It was the worst place I have ever stayed. It would be better to sleep outside!!!!

Checkout was at 9:30, although when I booked it they said 11:00. This put much complications to my plans. There is not a set that comes included, if you need a towel you have to ask, same for soap, it is for free, but, anyway, if they would pay a little bit more attention! I preferred to buy the soap for example. No heating in my room.Smoking is not forbidden, smells in the apartment.Staff does not speak English, very basic understanding.

The gentlemen was waiting for us outside upon arrival. He was very hospitable, and if you're thinking twice about this location, don't! It was definitely worth the 5 minute walk from St. Peter's Basilica! Fair price and right on the metro line!
