The location is great and the staff was kind and very helpful. The showers and toilets are tiny, but okay.

The Location is great, but the hostel itself ist dirty as hell! We found used underware in our room and the bathrooms were a mess!

In the heart of the Old City, this Hostel offers a feeling of rustic antiquity that Biblical visitors of same would have experienced. I recommend it !

Extremely difficult to find. The address is correct but the link to the location on the map sends you somewhere else. Breakfast not included (-)

"The new Swedish hostel" besides the name, there wasent anything new nor Swedish about the place. The room and hostel where very depresing, and then i counted 19 signd with "do not", great. The staf did not know basic english, they never smiled and weren't helpfull. On hostel.com it says that it was in number 29, we could not fond it! It was actually in number 67. There smelled like cat-pee and the rooms were not clean. We were supose to stay fir a week, but hat choosed to leave after 2 days!!

Although it may not be the most comfortable hostel in the world, we certainly liked our stay in New Swedish Hostel. The location is perfect and the staff was very friendly and helpful. It's a rather calm hostel for those whose main objective is to feel the Holy City.
