Location is good, but that's all the good part of it. Not clean, not safe, not the best price around... Only thing I can recommend is: find somewhere else to stay!

The hostel was nearly empty all the time, and now i understand why. one of the receptionists flipped one morning, and started yelling at me: "why are you always cooking?! i don't like it!" according to the written rules of the hostel, i'm allowed to use the kitchen every day from 7:00, and this is what i told him. he said: "i will change the rules! i can do whatever i want!" I said: "i cannot stay in a hostel where i'm treated this way", and of course he kept yelling, for

Very well located, in the heart of Jerusalem. However showers and toilets were way too small, not easy to get any privacy. Muhammed was very helpful and friendly.

Nice place, great location for exploring the old city. Its small and old fashioned which adds to the experience of staying in the old city. Decoration was unexciting but everything was clean and facilities were all there. The staff were nice people but quite serious. Its not a 'fun' hostel with a great atmosphere for young adults but its pleasant and I would recommend it.

The main plus of this hostel was that it was in a very good location in the old city of Jerusalem and it was the cheapest hostel listed. The down side was: 1. Staff unfriendly and rude unless you were female and then they went into full pervy, slimy mode. 2. Unclean bathroom and limited facilities. 3. Kitchen- Not fit for cooking, for typical hostel travelers. No cooker. Just one hotplate and although free hot drinks were offered there seemed to be only two mugs. 4. Very cramped, almost squalid

Great atmosphere. You can feel the charm od Jerusalem without going out to the city as well. The owners sacrificed a lot of their free time for us, served us breakfast (though it wasn't included) and told us many great stories about living in Israel and Palestine, gave us a lot of tips concerning sightseeing, moving around and neighbour cities. People are the most important par of every travel and in this case they did their job perfectly;)
