Hostel is dirty and stinky. The only good thing about it is location - in a heart of Old City of Jerusalem. Not bad value for money, but for our accomodation we had to pay more than usually becouse of Orthodox Christian Holiday. Becouse of same holiday - israeli police threw us out of hostel early in the morning (I would rather said - late at night !) Recomend if You need accomodation very close to all points at Old City but honestly I won't stay in there next time !!!

I have stayed in New Swedish many times. Always good value for the money and perfect location in the Old City Jerusalem. Near to the Souk and Holy Sepulchre Church, Western Wall etc, etc. Free tea and coffee and Samir can give you good deals in the low season. Staff with Karim can help you with everything in Jerusalem and explain all secrets of Middle Eastern history and politics. Daniel, Sweden

This hostel is not very clean. Toilet and shower is too small, no place to put clothes. Kitchen too poor, tea and coffee can making, but only plastic cups. But, well, that is wi-fi in the room.

extremly small toilets and showers (together, no privacy), toilet paper should be obligatory put into bin. Kitchen hours 7 a.m. - 24 p.m., uses also the personell, one of them not very polite, probably lives in the hostel. All lugaggage should be during the day set on beds, not on the floor. Big advantage is only the location
