Clean, calm, well placed. Stuff is helpfull, englishspeaking. Everyday fruits as a present. I had a 75 discount, so the price was good. The only thing is that WiFi was usually low in my room.

Staff was really nice, excellent service. Good price. Nice hotel with clean room with good shower, soft beds, breakfast was average. They close at 12.00 so you can't go out till late.

Excellent value for the money, but not great for meeting people, as is common for most hotels.

I was lucky enough to get a room half price rates through hostel world. Great place to stay if you want to easy away from the backpack scene for awhile.

The room was covered in flies when we arrived, they tried to help but couldn't move us to another room because they were apparently full. They offered us a free night stay which we took, the staff were very understanding.

Hanoi has been warned by many hustlers always trying to scam you for money. Best is to avoid any tourist interaction: Transportation and accommodation. It is hard to find people who can tour you around without even getting ripped off from simplest boat ride to an island. You will get ripped off everywhere. Advice: stick with finding locals, expacts, transplants that will show you around, host you, even travel with you. I stay away from taxi's, boat tours, and last, boat tours.

Definitely one of the best places to stay in all of hanoi. Best service from excellent staff and many higher end hotels won't even be able to compare. Highly recommended to everyone.

We've got the Hostelworld deal so it was excellent value for money. Nice average hotel (it is a bit old nothing fancy), staff is really friendly and helpful, well located.

Very good & clean. Facilities in working order. Better than what I was expecting for the price I paid. New Vision Hostel was converted from old building, but floors, walls, toilet, water heater, bed all fully clean & working well. Location was excellent. Near to the Ho Guom Lake and also to the main shopping streets and also near (walk) to most of the museums, water puppet theatre, etc. I took a public bus (No 17) from the airport to the Hanoi bus station, and walked to the hostel (follow GPS).

Pretty cheap trough the special offer, but the normal price is to high for the qualaty of the hostel.
