I would appreciate if bathroom is cleaner. I did not take a shower because of the bathroom cleanliness. But the staff were very nice and friendly.

I spent this xmas in New York budget Inn and the experience was AWESOME! Staff were really nice ppl and we had great time doing karaoke there, lol hope we didn't make too much noise. It's clean, it's neat, and fresh towel everyday. They even have housekeeper to make my bed everyday! The location is great, everything is in walking distance, ok, time squares is not, but it's in a good neighborhood in Manhattan, and for the price, you do get more than what you paid for.

DO NOT use the computers in the lobby to secure your pictures! Our pictures were automatically(without any notification) uploaded in a dropbox account and we had a virus on every usb/SD devices we plugged in. Apart from that it was a clean and nice little hostel in the middle of Manhattan.

This hostel is very tiny! In a room for 2 only one can stand up. The sheets were full of most different kinds of hairs and the restrooms were smelly and dirty (even with the cleaning person passing trough there 2 times at day!). The staff were nice at the first day, but they forgot to warn us that we need to pay for the lockers and key, so we have a very awkward situation. The only good thing about this place is the localization, but that's not enough for the price!

For that price you find 3 star even 4 star hotels. The room was SO SMALL. Both of us could barely open the door and get inside at the same time. The window opened to a hole full of dirt so we couldn't get fresh air. The atmosphere was unbreathable. Its true that is recently renovated, and is clean, but the living (even if is only for sleep) was stressfull. The room is all grey, noise of the heating system was constantly. Showers loose water preasure and sometimes we wouldn't get enough hot watr

The bathrooms smelt horrible, I wanted to be sick stepping in. $5 for holding luggage, towels and a locker and no getting it back after, bad! The price I paid and not have a kitchen or common room, not worth the price at all.

NYC is a very expensive city, and finding a cheap room is tough. And this hotel is no exception. We took a basic twin room, it's about 9m2 (too small for 2 people with a lot of luggage, and just 2 single beds. Nothing else. Bathrooms accross the corridor, not always clean. Location very central. Maybe you could find something much better for 10-15% more expensive in the neighboorhood.

Great hostel! However, some negative points: communication between staff doesn't seem to be ideal. For example about the cost for storing luggage - the guy when we checked in said it was $5 per piece regardless of the duration and the guy the next day said it was $5 per piece and per day. The same thing happened when booking the shuttle to the airport - first we were told that we needed to make a $5 cash deposit (we went to an ATM to get cash) and with the next guy we didn't have to pay it.

bed sheet feel off my bed every 2 seconds so most of the night i sent sleeping on a bare mattress! Its very noisy outside and all the heater managed to do was make noise, not heat. the bathrooms were quite dirty and not many places to store your clothes and towel. the towel provided was the size of a hand towel. You have to pay $5 a bag for them to store your luggage after you check out which I think is terrible. If you are a lone traveller i don't recommend

This was a budget hotel rather than a hostel. Our stay here was pleasant and the a highlight was the hotel being in a really good location on 34th street about 20-30 min walk to times square. The staff were friendly enough, the rooms & showers were clean & tidy. The area felt very safe & secure, whilst small lockers were provided. The rooms were quite small & the water pressure to the showers on the upper floors was quite poor. There was no common room or kitchen, luggage storage is $5 per bag.

The bathrooms were extremely dirty. I know that they provide flip flops but that's not an excuse. The doors slam every time someone shuts and doors kept opening and shutting all night so we couldn't sleep.

Thank you for your review. The gentleman who had checked you in was rushed to the hospital soon after. He had a diabetic attack.

Ny is fascinating, so we didn't spend much time in the hostel, only to sleep so it was fine. They made a mistake with our reservation (they upgraded us to their most expensive room), they did all their best to fix it so we didn't have to pay more than what we signed for. But they made us change room every day (7 different rooms in 8 nights...) you can imagine how annoying was to pack and unpack every day. The hotel is clean but not that clean, wonder if sheets are changed everyday (hair in bed).

Great experience! The linens are very clean and they have staff fold it every day. This is like a hotel to some extent. Lockers provided. Quite a few restrooms around, no need to wait for a vacant one. The only problem is that some rooms facing the street are not so quiet at night because NYC is a sleepless city. Don't leave the window on and it's ok. What's also remarkable is the desk staff. Good job, guys!
