The good: beds and restrooms are clean, nice and helpfull staff, excellent location, air conditioning in room, free wifi The bad: No common area, small bedrooms, no breakfast

I`m just missing you!Had the best time of my life at your hostel!Everybody was always friendly and gave me a lot of very good insider tips how and where to go!It was always clean and the beds have bean made every single day!The locotion was great and i could walk by foot to all the famous sightseeing things!!!thanks a lot for having such a good time!Agathe

Too noisy, streets are so crowded and there are noisy bars, people screaming and sometimes fights. No elevator and narrow stairs. The price is so high, but it's one of the best/cheap of NY.

The hotel is allright. i can't compare it with others as it's the only place we stayed in manhattan.

This is a really good hostel, staff is fantastic and room really clean and well decorated. Hostel is well placed and really secure.

Hard to find because small sign and the sign was not on the door. Five floors and no elevators is a drag.

Towels, lockers, luggage room, extra room key, all payable. The only extra were the apples and candies in the desk. The live músic was also great but inusefull, they play in the entrance without space for enjoy it. But beds were very confortable

New York Budget Inn provides the best location at the most affordable price. Located on the SE corner of 34th st and 3rd ave, it places one in the heart of Manhattan. The members of the staff were friendly and welcoming. Special mention to Anthony too for going the extra mile to help me collect 5 empty toilet rolls overnight so that I can roll up and keep a painting that I had purchased safe.

Clean and in a good location. Rooms are small and have minimal furnishings, it's not very good value for money... I would stay here again if I was travelling with a group of people but for a couple there are much better places for the same price.

The hostel was in a very good location. The rooms were clean. The building seemed recent reformed inside. They don´t have elevators, so you have to be prepared to carry your luggage. Bathrooms are ok, but depending on the time, it can be hard to find a free shower. We had problems with the heating. Some nights were freezing, the other nights it was hot like hell. We couldn´t change the temperature by ourselves.

Very noisy place...hosts seem to think they're the only ones around and behave accordingly ! Hardly got a wink of sleep...too bad

Almost everything was great. Only the bunk bed was very shaky. No matter how hard you try to go to bed without waking the other person up, who is already asleep, you will not succeed.

The rooms and bathrooms were well kept. Perfect location near bars and restaurants. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Definitely will stay here again

I found a hostel clean, very well located, tight and fair price! With subway, pub, fast food, breakfast , pharmacy everything very near!!!

A good place to sleep with a reasonable price. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very clean and the staff was also good.

Had a tremendous stay for 2 nights at the ny budget inn, good clean rooms, comfy beds, love the fact that there are endless clean bathrooms with your own privacy and they are regularly checked. The front desk staff really go out of their way to ensure your stay is eventful and fun, lockers for personal belongings are spacious and love the fact that you have your own microwave and refrigerator in your room. I highly recommend this hostel as its very central and surrounded by great eating and drin
