Bathroom is small so more than likely the floors will get wet, is it possible to get another towel or something for the bathroom floor.

The Budget Inn is not like other lodging you'd find on Hostel World - it seems as though it is merely a place to lay your head at night between your filling days in NYC. For that, it is quality. If you are looking for a place to chill and meet people look elsewhere, the Budget Inn is for convenience only.

I would highly recommend the New York Budget Inn with the caveat that it really is, as the name suggests, a budget affair. The staff are excellent - very friendly and helpful, the rooms are small but clean and comfortable, and the location is unbeatable. Downside is a lack of a good communal area, or a bar, cafe etc. Nevertheless, this is an excellent choice for the traveller on a shoe-string budget.

It's a good hostel but i still think the Equity Point New York @ Times Square is the best hostel in New York in my opinion.

The hostel was really good, but the room was extremely cold that it was very difficult to get out of bed in the morning.

This place was really clean and conveniently located in Manhattan. The room was small, but again, quite neat. It was also pretty quiet when we stayed here, too. Also, I really appreciated that they included bath flip flops for the shared shower! The staff was always very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommended!

This place is in an awesome location. The staff are so helpful and are genuinely happy to see you and lend advice. There's no common room, so it made it near impossible to have some down time. And there's no kitchen, so you have no choice but to buy all your meals, every single day. But other than that this hostel was great, will definitely be staying there again.

Fantastic location, friendly and helpful staff. Wifi is not 100% reliable. Good to see that maintenance issues were fixed so quickly (a broken sink was fixed within a day).

VERY BAD : The WIFI doesn't work in the bedroom. It was not told in the website and it screw my work. I lost money because of that. There is no individual lights in the bedrooms : if you want to work on the table, the light is on for everybody There is no real living room. Just 4 harmchair in the entrance You must pay for every think : the towel... T

This accomodation is really cheap and his location is a must for New York. Metro station are pretty close and you can have quite awesome walks around the Hostel. The staff is always here to offer some help and they are really cheerful. This place is quite noisy because of this location ... but who needs to sleep in New York ?!

There is an extra fee at arrival. I think that is the same for all the hotels in NY, if I am not wrong, is 14% more per night. Then if you want to leave your luggage for some hours after check out you ought to pay 5 $. So finally the price increases. Anyway, the location is perfect, and it is nice overall.

Great place, great staff, the rooms are a tad bit small, but if you're not going to be on it too much time is OK, in urgent need of an elevator though, but otherwise, nice place
