Well the place certainly looked different today with a huge wedding being prepared for the next afternoon it was like getting a sneak peek. Another great stay for my last visit for a while as I am off home soon. Breakfast is very good and the hostel is clean and comfortable. Guest Kitchen needs a little work is all. PS - I accidentally stole to room key sorry guys, I'll pop it in the post ;) Cheers, James

This guesthouse's location is superb if you're planning to visit Brú Na Bóinne, which is just a few meters away. The facilities are adequate, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The only downside of our visit was the room's cleanliness. It looked OK, but as soon as we moved one of the beds a bit, we found plenty of rubbish under it, including food foil wrappers! Not a very nice sight.

I so enjoyed staying at this hostel, and this was very much to do with the staff who were so helpful bringing extra blankets, arranging tours etc

Great location near Newgrange. Staff tried to be helpful, but seemed to be a bit disorganised. Great bathroom, but room was dirty, with old, uncomfortable and even broken beds, which is a pity given that the whole house itself is beautiful. Brilliant breakfast!

We had booked two beds in a dorm and ended up in a lovely ensuite double instead. When we had to leave for a few days, they offered to keep our bags for us, and then gave us the same room again when we came back. It might not seem like much for most people, but after two weeks of dorms, this room was much appreciated. So thank you so much for a great stay. We will definitely come again.

While there was some wear and tear on the rooms since my stay 5 years ago it remains a terrific hostel. Great staff and kitchen and sitting room facilities very close to the New Grange site.

I do really like it here and thought I wouldn't return yet long story short I found myself back in Ireland and so had another chance. Wifi, parking, good beds and showers and perfect location. Everything was pretty Excellent as usual with the only criticism being the breakfast rooms and kitchen could have done with the once over, but as we were almost the only people in this was I dare say a small oversight. Sorry to hear you had been unwell my dear, see you perhaps in a few months. James

We loved our visit. The staff were friendly and helpful. Only concern was a broken bathroom door handle and strange hot water in both rooms. Not a huge problem for just an overnight.

While it was convenient and good enough for simple work, the wifi was terribly slow on our last visit.
