This hostel was great in all respects. It is just steps away from train main station and the rooms were clean and bright. Abdallh was extremely helpful and courteous. He gave us tips on transportation and sightseeing and took great care of us while we were there. We will definitely come back!This hostel was great in all respects. This is a great hostel especially for people traveling alone. Very clean, safe, fun and it has an inviting atmosphere. It is family owned so respect for the property and other guests is highly emphasized and only goes to make for a very pleasant experience. If you stay anywhere else in Cairo, you're just daft. This place is insanely social, and the staff is exceptional. The nights are restful when you need them to be, but the hostel is the perfect place to get a group together for a night out. Then you're two minutes walk from the metro, and 15 minutes from Egyptian museum.If you stay anywhere else in Cairo, you're just daft. This place is insanely social, and the staff is exceptional. The staff here (Abdullah) are great. Will look after you very well. Rooms and great, breakfast OK, clean, aircon, safe. The staff here are extremely helpful; a great way to start any stay in Cairo. They organised a desert tour for me and even escorted me to an embassy when I needed to organise a foreign visa. A nice change from all the men on the street that won't stop hassling women on their own. Also great that breakfast is included - you know that whatever happens, you'll get at least one good meal a day!The staff here are extremely helpful; a great way to start any stay in Cairo. Best value I've seen in Egypt, and the staff was friendly (and spoke English). The room was spacious, clean, comfortable. It came with a nice bathroom and AC. The rooftop patio is a very pleasant place to relax also. The exterior of the building is not fancy but does not reflect how it looks when you get to the floor of the hotel, so don't be put off when you get there.
