I wanted to like this place but it just got worse the longer i stayed. The best was the free wifi and clean bathroom but it stops there. There is no atmosphere , most residents were their long term and kept to their groups. The dorms were horrible, no window and smells like dampness. When i found BED BUGS in my bed i checked out immediately and while packing my cloths i found a used condom under the bed. Don't stay here its disgusting with no character

I loved it. Simply one of the best hostels where I ever been. Free Wi-Fi in primis (cause it's hard to get it in Australia and New Zealand). Hostel very clean and helpfull staff. Maybe some of the customers where a bit dirty and noisy but definitely a hostel's fault. Just on K road, not too far form the CBD by walk.

Just a short walk from Queen-Karangahape intersection, the area may seem a bit dodgy but offers plenty of asian cuisine places. Hostel is new and run by asians so its clean and efficient but lacks the "traveller spirit" a bit - maybe later. Staff are kind but were not much informative about surroundings, anyway there is plenty of flyers. Bathroom nice and clean. There are no wine glasses in kitchen:) My room, 6 dorm/3bunkbeds was nice, spacious, with lockers and personal power socket. FREE Wifi.

Stayed in the single room but it felt like staying in a dorm room. The doors in the rooms dont fit to the floor and there is a gap. You can hear every mouse walking around, so i dont have to mention how it sounds like when persons are walking or speaking outside the room. Internet is available for free (great), even it is very slow.

The bedrooms could use some windows and are tiny. If you want free Internet then stay here, but that's about the only reason I would go back. Good kitchen and bathrooms.

To bad there isn't an outside area like a balcony. Apart from that, I really enjoyed staying there, great location, nice and clean, good price an free and quick WiFi :-)

The location is great and it's very clean and comfy. Good beds. Not too much going on in the hostel though. Free internet really good.

Excelling small hostel in Auckland. A short walk from the main CBD the hostel doesn't look great from the outside but inside it is new, clean and modern. All the small details are covered from free WiFi and lockers to power sockets on each bed. Comfy beds and nice dorms although more natural light in the rooms would be a bonus.

Very good hostel very clean. The showers are completely new and very clean. The kitchen and television area is very pleasant. The dorm is a little bit small but it was not really a problem for me. Definitely a very good place to stay

The hostel, particularly bathrooms, need a deep clean. Staff are lovely.

An excellent, clean, friendly hostel. Free wifi is excellent, 2 computers are provided for guests without computers. Quite new so all facilities are in good condition. Particularly impressed with the staff cleaning the kitchen several times throughout the day.

Amazing hostel for the price. Free Wi-Fi everywhere, all the time- such a bargain to find these days. Big TV and kitchen area; Toilets and showers constantly being cleaned. Lockers in room with keys. Each bunk has its own 2 outlets and each shower had 4-5 hooks, a sink and mirror, hot water galore. Most hostelers staying seemed to be long-term in Auckland looking for jobs, so it doesn't have the "backpacker" feel. Location is great- easily accessible to the city and AirBus. Highly recommended!

The free wifi was great, as were the showers. You get a locker to keep your valuables in but the doors to the rooms don't automatically lock so anyone can walk in. There's not much atmosphere but it's good value for money if you're passing through Auckland.

Excellent hostel for a few nights stay in Auckland. Comfy beds & good social area to meet people in. Slightly noisey at night but good shower facilities. Would recommend

Pro's: great showers, friendly staff, new furnishings and free internet (if you can get on a computer). Con's: basic value hostel in city centre with no character or class. Would benefit from a few signs to direct you as to how things work and certainly some more kitchen equipment.
