The place is quite nice and the staff was helpfull, but don't book any tours or buses there because they'll cost you a lot more than if you book at the travel agencies.
It was so so cold in the hostel with no option for any form of heating, there was no atmosphere as we never saw anyone else that was staying their. The laundry service was poor, we were givem 3 different times it would be ready for and all of them were missed. We did not get our laundry back until the day we were checking out. The best thing about the hostel is that it's cheap and pretty central.
Location is ok, but not great. Room needs some major repairs, cables hanging from the wall, bed sheets are with holes, bathroom door not closing, disgusting marks in the bathtub.
Good value for money, so better than the rest of Hue. Staff were friendly and helpful. Large and clean rooms. The map they provide doesnt include the citadel, but they do loan out decent maps free of charge. Good location if youre into (overpriced to the rest of vietnam) bars/restaurants, shops and touts. Only issue was the hot water: it lasted 2 minutes only. They said that is what its supposed to do. Walking distance to citadel. Think bags were just kept behind reception desk. Overall v.happy
