Very happy with my stay here. The room was big and clean! The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a great time. Thanks, Nhat Thao!
Pretty nice hostel, the staff are friendly as anything but It didn't really have much of a vibe, but if you're after a nice, affordable hostel in the cbd this is a winner.
Good location on in the backpacker District and large, clean rooms that were cleaned daily. Staff were helpful and hospitable but English was not well spoken by staff on duty all the time. Still, a lovely hostel and would recommend.

Nhat Thao is a clean guesthouse with big rooms and an excellent location near Pham Ngu Lao. Nevertheless there is one big problem: the staff is very nice, but it is almost impossible to talk to them as most of them don't speak any English at all.
Nat Thao is more a cheap hotel then a guesthouse. Its clean en has a good location but. The toilet in the ensuit bathroom was so close to the wall that I had to sit slightly side ways to use it because I couldn't get my legs in between. And I am only 1m65 tall ! The staff were friendly enough but had dificulty understanding me some times. Al things considered I would say that this is a OK place to stay but I have had better accomodation in Vietnam for the same price.
I do not understand the high rating at all. Our room was dark with only a small window to the gangway, and it was only clean at first sight (when we wanted to use the drinking cups provided, they couldn't be moved because they sticked with dirt at the table...delicious!). The staff could barely speak English and barely smiled, except for the English speaking girl, who was really nice though. We had so much better value for money in Vietnam before in many hostels, so I was really disappointed.
Staff are really friendly, really nice rooms, wouldn't really recommend any of the tours they offer though as the travel agency they deal with ripped us off. Other than that a really nice place!

pros: good quality for a reasonable price, very friendly staff! cons: I really missed some small desk in the room where I could do some work. There was only a small coffee table and my back was killing me when working there. A safety box in a room would definitely increase my sense of security. WiFi was broken during the last 2 days of my stay which made my life hard.
