Everything about this hotel was excellent except some of the staff was not as friendly and helpful as all the other hostels we stayed at in Vietnam. They were not bad, really, just not as great as what we'd experienced in other places, like Hue and Saigon. Otherwise a great hotel - location is near great places, the rooms were amazing for the price. Highly recommended!

Staff are friendly on arrival and throughout but get pushy to try and get you to go to places they have and affiliation with i.e tailor, there own tours, beauty saloon etc. there were a lot of Mosquitos in our room on arrival and when we asked to be changed they charged us for a bigger room cause it was all they have. In that room there were plenty of small bugs and when we told them there solution was to spray the area with insect repellent/killing spray and that was it. Bugs cam back next day

Pleasant hotel with a kind and helpful staff despite some communication problems. The basic room had a very clean and pretty bathroom but was a bit noisy. They offer tours to My Son which we enjoyed a lot.

Lovely location, with friendly and helpful staff. Read a few reviews and they said they were pushy with their family tailors, however, we didn't have that experience at all! Lovely, lovely people.

Probably our fault was that we just booked a standard room. We got a small room without windows, just behind the reception which had a bad smell of mould. It was clean, the stuff was very nice, but we just didn't feel comfortable in this room and just stayed there for sleeping and tried to leave as much as possible (which was ok then). It's not totally in the center of Hoi An, but totally fine to walk everywhere.

We were very impressed with the male and young female staff member who looked after us so well. We love this hotel and will recommend it.

A reasonably nice hotel which I recommend staying at. However, I'd be careful when it comes to money at this place. The guy at reception tried to overcharge me. I also asked if there was a shuttle bus to the airport and they told me no. I therefore paid for a taxi to the airport through them. However, I later discovered that there is a shuttle bus to the airport, so they blatantly lied to me so I would pay for their private taxi.

Hoi An is a pearl. Absolutely a must see in Vietnam. Rooms are very good. Absolutely value for your money. Only downside: noticed a small change of friendliness of the staff when they saw that we bought our suits/ dresses in an other place than they recommended.

The room was clean and had great bathroom, hotel staff was very nice and helpful, location was great (it took us 10 minutes easy walking to the Old quarter) and the breakfast was good. The girl on the reception recommended us great cooking class. I just think we should double check the price we paid, because it was in VND and when we were later calculating it, we realized that we have payed full hotel price, despite we have payed 5eur in advance (via Hostelworld).

We loved staying at Nhi Trung Hotel. The staff were very helpful in organising day trips for us and our return transport Location was great because its just far enough away from the centre to be relatively quiet, still close enough to walk everywhere. We would certainly recommend staying here, the only advice is to ask for a room at the back of the hotel if possible because it's just a little quieter. Breakfast was delicious, and a definite plus!

The staff was very helpful and nice. The location is great. The woman across the street who rents bikes for $1 a day and does laundry is very pleasant and does a great job. I used her service more than once. Good breakfast.

Excellent hotel in a pretty good location (walking distance to the main area of town). The owner/manager is very nice and the breakfast is good. The only drawback is that it's not the most sociable place - definitely more hotel than hostel.

Great location, friendly staff and lovely rooms.

Wonderful hotel, with a taste of local style, great in comparison to the many standard holiday hotels, which all look the same. Room was large and clean, and we were lucky to get one on top floor with a small balcony facing the inner yard. A little walk away from the river and town center but no more than 5 min. Bike/motorbike rental right accross the street-super convenient. Minus: poor wifi on top floor and hot water from the boiler did not last very long, and the water pressure was too low.

Def recommended, really helpful and spoke fantastic English!

We stayed here for 4 nights and loved it. So close to everything we wanted - and not too far to walk to anything in Old Town. Staff were friendly and helped us with many things. Their laundry service was very helpful and was returned within 24 hrs. Breakfast was included and was pretty good. Would stay here again.

We arrived much later at night than expected and were a little worried when we saw the place all locked up and lights off. But the Family who owned the place were up out of bed without a grumble, and made us feel welcome. Nice facilities, very helpful reception staff, and good location with easy walking distance to the hub of the old quarter.

Our 1st room had no towels and a leaking boiler that meant no hot water, our 2nd room had gaps in the doors which meant mozzies visited, after an initial hot shower there was no hot water in the dribble of water that was there. This was reported to the staff- nothing was done. The 1st room had no coffee or tea to go with the kettle and cups, the 2nd room had no lightbulb in the lamp. No help was given to change rooms, staff assistance was slow and generally disinterested.

Friendly staff. Good location short walk from old part of town, 5 min walk or so. Bike rental outside of Hotel for $1 per day. Would definitely recommend. Hoi An was one of the highlights of Veitnam. We stayed 2 nights but could have stayed at least 3, 4 nights. Beach was very nice, fun riding bike around town and to beach, etc. Old part of town is very scenic. Arranged airport pickup, went smoothly. There is a airport shuttle that can be arranged from town, was 80K each.

Nice enough place with a good location, but... - we had a dripping boiler in the bathroom, meaning a dangerously slippy floor and lots of flies in our room. We informed them on the first day and it hadn't been looked at by the fourth. - there were lots of little ants in the breakfast area. - the WiFi was pretty poor. - the staff made us pack all our stuff up for no reason when we asked to extend our booking.
