Good job but there is plenty of room for improvement. Not a bad hostel but not the best either.

Although staff were very helpful, the rooms were very dirty. When we raised this with reception they did move us immediately and were very apologetic but the room was still dirty. This was the most expensive hostel that we stayed in Vietnam and it was by far the worst. It is a shame that the friendly ladies on reception have to put up with mistakes made by bad management.

Great location within 1 min from Hoi An old town. Large bedroom with pretty balcony too, very comfortable. Very friendly and helpful staff with good English and local knowledge. Many local tours etc available from the hostel and they can arrange any transport you need too. Would stay there again!

Nhi Trung was a fantastic place for us to stay during our visit to Hanoi. The reception staff were extremely welcoming and very informative about the surrounding area. Our room was very spacious with 1 double bed and 1 single bed. The bathroom was also spacious with a shower over the bath, and also very clean. The breakfast, which was incl, was also great as we got to choose from a range of things (fruit and yogurt was lovely). Had a great time and wish we could have stayed longer!

We booked the standard double room (share bath) ,but we got the room with bath on the ground floor. The ceiling of the bathroom and the room was made by wood. Because we don't think the window could be opened (no mossie net ), it smelled a little bit moldy (Actually you can see it was moldy on the ceiling). My boyfriend killed two cockroach after my screaming. The breakfast was good, the staffs were smiling and friendly. I think if you book the dorm room or on the up floor, it will be better.

Decent location, good wifi, ok breakfast, and the staff will help you get cheap taxis to and from the airport, direct you to where you need to go, and help get you scooters to rent. Only three picky complaints: 1. Our room had a huge hole in the washroom ceiling that made me wonder if people could sneak into our room from there. 2. Our balcony door was found unlocked several times after cleaning staff came in. 3. Kinda noisy, but it wasn't overbearing and didn't ruin our stay.

We had a great room overlooking an internal courtyard with a number of pot plants on our balcony. It was a lovely room and the staff were very helpful and friendly.

We were made to feel at home . Reception staff were excellent and helpful. Our balcony room was the best and delightful to see the teapot and cups on the table outside - a lovely touch. This place has that old world charm and is close to all there is to see in Hoi An.

The staff are awesome, friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great location and the rooms are spacious. The breakfast is tasty and the DMZ tour we booked was good. The rooms are a bit damp and cold but overall a nice place to stay.

In the Lonely Planet Guide the location of Nhi Trung Hotel is out of the map (700 m), but it is actually very close to the Old Town center, just 5 minutes walk to the historical Japanese Bridge.

This hostel is clean, centrally located with friendly staff. The breakfast was also lovely. As a single traveler, however, I found it a bit overpriced but I guess Hoi An is just that bit more expensive than other places in Vietnam.

great room (superior double bed) with large windows and cute, private balcony (with table, chairs, and teapot). good a/c and cable tv. decent wifi connection on third floor. nice included breakfast (fresh juice!). friendly, helpful staff (they encouraged us to get clothes made at their affiliated tailor shop, but only on the first day.) super cheap bike rental place across the street (two beaches about 5 km away). very walkable to old town.

The service and friendliness of the staff at this hotel was very good and they were very helpful. The breakfast was good and the room was quiet at night and the hotel is in a good location. The room was clean but was nothing special and the bathroom was fairly ordinary. Our room had a balcony at the front of the property. The windows however did not lock securely and would have been quite easy to open from the outside however we had no issues during our stay.

Great location, pickup service from the bus station was a nice extra. Free working Internet access computers at the lobby. Good breakfast. Staff was ok. The room was nice but there were some tiny ants around and the bed was horrible (clean yes, but gives you a real backache). Our room was facing in the garden so it was quite quiet but it is easy to imagine the ones facing the street can be noisy.

We have checked 3 rooms (we stayed more nights than originally booked) and there were big differences between rooms (size, services: eg balcony), each of them seemed to be clean.

The room was good, clean & the location in the central. The staffs were friendly. There was something confused when we checked in the reception informed that we should pay in dong because of local government regulation. When we checked out and curious about the currency, the reception (2nd shift) informed that we could pay in USD . As we've already cash withdrawal thru ATM so we paid in dong. If we knew we could pay in USD, we did'nt have to withdraw cash..the rest was ok
