Very nice hostel offering CHEAP SINGLE rooms ! The hostel is actually a youth center with a swimming pool and gym. If season is not busy they\\\'ll even let you check-in at any time (I did at 7AM and they also kept my luggage all day after I checked out free of charge, not to mention I stayed in their lobby until late night waiting for mu bus, no problem at all). The hostel is not so bad, but the ghetto around it is depressing. If you're traveling on your own girl i would suggest to stay somewhere else. It gives you creeps even if you stroll down the streets during the day, didn't even wanna expedience that at night.The hostel is not so bad, but the ghetto around it is depressing. The guest rooms needs AC! It was pretty hot and opening the window means lot of noise from outside. The mattresses were very uncomfortable, they seem very old. Please consider making proper bathrooms instead of make-shift bath arrangement for women and provision for privacy in men's bath. The shower also needs replacement. Is an ok choice if you group = Not if on own. I booked in nd the staight back out! Rooms not to nice and no ladies shower in the place you sleep. We got to the YMCA at 10:30PM. The staff was wonderful so was the elevator that led to the rooms... But the rooms were horrible. The picture on the hostelworld website are not from the room we were offered. The smell was horrible (cigarette), the matress was covered with an heavy noisy plastic...In the end, we did not stay but, good thing, they did not charge us. My friend was afraid that once she closes the lights, a bug would crawl on her bed. We think this hostel has a lot of potential but..We got to the YMCA at 10:30PM. The bathroom in my level was out of order and we had to use the bathrooms of the swimming pool. It closed at 11pm but I was not informed about it. When I wanted to take my shower slightly after 11pm I was told that I had got nowhere to shower! I ended up taking my shower in the men's bathroom =.= everything is bearable for the money we paid but the lack of bathroom is totally unbearable.
