We had a great stay on the way into and out of Managua. The staff is very friendly. The lady is very sweet and even walked us to a taxi at 6am for our flight back to make sure we got a good fare. She also always gave us a small breakfast to go, since we never had time to stay for the complimentary one. The rooms are pretty basic, but clean, which is all we were looking for. No hot water, but no big deal. In a good, quiet neighborhood, which is within walking distance of a grocery store.

The hostel is charming and in an attractive suburb, but far away from any sites. You always have to take a taxi and the taxi drivers always seem to get lost and take forever to find their way. The breakfast was lovely and the staff helpful and friendly.
We emailed the owner about arriving late because of our bus. To which his reply was sumply 'we shut at 11' and we sent him a further for emails after this to try and discuss the matter to which he didn't even reply and still charged us for the room! Disgraceful way to run a business
We felt very safe in the hostel although we not always felt safe in the city of managua. but it might be just an first impression, since we just stayed two nights. the staff was very helpful and caring. They hand us cold water bottles when we arrived and accompanied us to a taxi when we had to take one before sunrise. Breakfast was little but great with fresh fruit salad.
