We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Nick's beautiful garden home (which seemed to formerly be a temple of some sort). It's located in the heart of Ubud, close to lovely shops and delicious "warungs". We also walked to Nick's two other properties, which are equally charming but further away, in the rice paddies and "jungle". Be sure to stop at the nearby spa for a great, inexpensive massage! But the best recommendation of all is that Yande was kind enough to send my friend's earrings to her in Yogy

Lovely hotel although my room was a little noisy on account of the wood/net windows rather than glass. Staff very friendly and breakfast was much appreciated! Thanks for a nice stay.

We were originally booked to stay here, but the Wifi was down. Unfortunately, I had to keep in touch with work for a couple days of my day, so this was important. The staff understood and moved me to another property - Nick's Pension. It would be unfair of me to review that site here, What I was able to see of Nick's Homestay was that it is very nice, clean, and the staff are super friendly. Plus, if you stay here, you have access to the pools on the other properties. Great value!

Nice place to stay in Ubud, very close to the monkey forest and in a busy road. The wifi was working properly and the place itself is really nice, you understand the concept of home temple. The facilities are average to good.

Nick's Homestay is a great place to stay for budget travellers...a traditional balinese house where you wake up to the sound of exotic birds & roosters. The bamboo beds are very comfortable, the breakfast is decent and the staff is really friendly. Bathrooms could be a little cleaner but for 14$ a night, we could not ask for more

Really good hostel!

Sounds of rooster early in the morning could be a great experience or a nuisance. Absence of air conditioner is a bit problem if the weather is not raining and hot. The hot water is sometime didn't work. The breakfast is a bit boring in variation.

Stay was decent but lacked character. It was a good place to start my stay in Ubud but I moved onto a quieter street and a place with more of a welcome feel.

This place was great! You're staying on an authentic Balinese compound, yet you're close to everything! The staff are very helpful, we booked two tours and a taxi to the airport with them and it was excellent service each time. Breakfast delivered to your door every morning, local tea on your porch, honestly, one of the best places I've stayed in SE Asia.

This place is amazing!!! I actually double checked the rate we were getting when we were shown our room. The staff is terrific, it's right close to everything in Ubud but still set back from traffic.

Really friendly staff. Does everything to make your stay as good as possible. Brings you breakfast to your room and helps with every booking you'd want.

It was the basic. No meals provided. The room and toilet were clean and they were cleaned every day. The landscaped garden is lovely. :) And the staff was friendly and helpful. Only the rooms were not soundproof so I could hear everything in the next room. Bt it's ok. The owner has 2 dogs, I played with them all the time, they are the best part of the homestay. the location's excellent and I rented a bike from them and cycled through the countryside. Had a great time
