Nice place to stay especially because it\'s styled as a traditional home. Though it\'s odd that they should offer only tea when you ask for water. Breakfast varies every day, but for the two mornings we were there, I thought we may have had a slight overdose of banana (in the toast one day, in the pancake the next day and in the fruit bowl on both days). As for the staff, Kenyat stood out as very friendly and helpful.

Overall not worth the money. Would highly advise against booking anything with this hostel, prices are quoted as double if not more than what can be found in town. Dishonest staff about this issue. Had an unpleasant experience that overshadowed anything positive about nicks homestay. Don't waste your time or money.

A great place to stay for those who want to stay at a rather isolated place. Just off the beach but the level of pollution and the fishing village character would probably keep most of the visitors off the water. Reasonable food within walking distance.

Overall it is excellent, but the door cannot be closed and the staffs need to improve a bit of their communication skill. The style is unique and quite peaceful especially wake up in the early morning.

We had a lovely time at Nick's. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was nice. However, we needed a pool! The 'close by' pools were not close by at all. We would have extended our stay if not for this reason. Also if you don't like getting woken up by local children at 5am this is not the place for you - but I thought it was lovely :)

The bathroom smelled of an old sewage system... Communication skill of staff was very poor and the service was lackluster...
