Friendly staff, The bed was good, But our bathroom smelled like sh*t during the whole stay and if we want out without closing the door to the bathroom the whole room smelled disgusting when we came back Nice location though and fine value for money.

Atmosphere outside of our room was lovely. Staff was nice. Windows to room had no mosquito nets (I am severely allergic) and we had to keep all windows closed. Room came with windows open so I still got bit. Bathroom, en suite to room, had no ventilation at all. Room had moldy smell during the entire stay because of the bathroom, and we opted to not shower during our stay because the bathroom stank so badly. We did not even want to use the toilet in fear of opening the bathroom door.

Great place! Traditional compound, with other families living around you. Breakfast great, wifi OK (not that strong), staff so helpful and really sweet. Cockerels a nuisance crowing at 5am but hey, it's Indonesia! Pebbles on the shower floor look nice but very uncomfortable to stand on and a bit smelly. Spotlessly clean elsewhere, room serviced daily. Much better than the previous reviews had lead me to believe. Great location off a Main Street but quiet. Close to supermarket. Would recommend.

Really nice and clean at hostel price- nicer than the pictures!

Staff very welcoming and enjoyed some local food with one family which made are stay, rooms are large and located within walking distance to most things. Breakfast was great and enjoyed on the little balcony. Quiet and relaxing, would highly reccomend if looking for an affordable get away :)

The bed linen does not seem to be brand new; there was some stains on it. But the overall room was exceptionally clean. I also wish there were some more electrical outlet right by the bed

Awesome stay. Big room! Nice pool that you can use (a bit of a walk) Good biketour.

A unique place to stay in Ubud. The garden surrounding the rooms is beautiful and creates a really nice atmosphere. It is also located very close to the monkey forest and a few shops and restaurants. There is no Air-con, though that seemed a regular trait throughout Ubud, and it could be annoying trying to locate the staff as half the time there was no-one at the desk.

It`s a very nice place and was one of the best accommodations we had in bali! the staff is very friendly and helped us with everything. The room was very nice and a good breakfast is included. Would definitely come back!

Only issue is that some cottages share the ceiling, so your hear your neighbour as if it were staying at your room, besides that a very recommendable place to be!

They need to do something with the cleaning of the toilets and showers!! Are really gross!!!

Internet connection was really poor.

The bathroom should have more improvement.

There was a pretty serious ant problem in my room and I was constantly asking for a broom so I could take care of the problem myself since it wasn't satisfactory. I asked for a car to pick me up at the airport upon my arrival in the early morning and even though it was confirmed, no one showed up. If I visit Ubud again, I would stay somewhere else.

The overall stay was good actually except that one of our room (Room 2 i believe) the fan was so noisy and too weak. Also, Kenyah - he is definitely the value asset for Nick's home stay, he is the only staff that always smiles to us, so attentive and friendly. One last thing, i would suggest the owner can set up a kitchen for guest to get drinking water or hot water will be best like all others homestay i have been.

Really nice place to stay, very private yet close to everything. The staff were really helpful too.

I had the most amazing 4 days at Nick's homestay! I love everything about the place, the staff are friendly, the home made breakfast was delicious, the rooms and garden - very well looked after and most importantly, it's quiet so you can rest properly when you need to. I will definitely come back again :)

I booked a twin suite and recieved a double bed instead for two very tall friends and had to share a bed. Not ideal when you book one thing and recieve another. There was also great confusion about the deposit. Staff thought it was for hostelworld instead of the hotel and were about to charge me the full room price without subtracting the deposit.
