Nicki's is an up-and-coming place. Brand new facility, very clean, comfortable and fun. Nicki is a wealth of information on the local sights (and doing them on a budget) and it's a great base from which to explore the entire Samana Peninsula, not just Las Terrenas.

It´s a great place to stay at if you´re in Las Terrenas, all pretty new and recently refurbished, 15min walk to the beach which isn´t a big deal cause you can soak up the locals´ life on the way ) else you can also always go by motoconcho which is pretty cheap and readily available. When you arrive in Las Terrenas, tell whoever brings you to the place that you have to go to Colegio Alianza which is opposite the hostel, that´s unambiguous if you wanna find it quickly :)
