Nid and her husband are very kind and friendly and we received a plate of fruit and bottled water on arrival However the huts look so run down. There is plastic sheet stapled to the floor to act as carpet and the floor underneath so thin that I was worried I would fall through at any point. The 'hot' shower was only a few degrees above cold and the man made holes in the walls in the bathroom are a perfect way for mosquitoes to get in (which they did!). The bed sheet wasn't clean (although had been washed

I found my bungalow to be a wonderful haven of peace. surrounded by lush tropical vegetation. It was excellent value for money, especially when you consider . My room was clean, fresh and comfortable, and I had access to international TV in my room. Breakfast was good, and the couple who run the place were only too eager to help me. If you need any help booking trips, ask them, because they can arrange everything for you and you don't have to worry. There is a swimming pool, too.

Nid's Bungalow's was just fine for the money. It was a little out of the way, but not much. My only complaint with it would be the floor in our bungalow seemed to be dry-rotted. I weigh about 95 kg and was constantly in fear of falling through the floor. Occasionally I could feel the floor cracking beneath my feet.

Nid's has it's good and bad points! Location is as described so it's not like they hide anything but very mucky and dark when walking home at night. Valve for money ok. I've stayed in better for less. Gardens are beautiful. They will serve you the free breakfast at any time of the day which is great! Bar may be open or closed, food might be available but limited - very tasty and cheap when available. I was lucky met a great gang there but was pure chance! It is clean and staff work very hard!

Very nice place to stay on a cheap budget. Location isnt great but its only a 5-10 minute walk to the beach which is okay. Staff are very helpful and provide you with free bottles of water for your room everyday aswell as free breakfast. Room has a tv with lots of channels and itsvery secluded and quite so a nice place to relax. Only downside was that we got bit a lot by mosquitos here!

Staff was very nice and helpful, but they had cockroaches in the room. Location is not very good, its quite a walk to the center and its in the middle of nowhere, so kind of creepy going there alone by night.

If you would like to stay in a very nice atmosphere you have to go to NId's Bungalow, because you feel like part of their family. Although they aren't directly at Chaweng Beach, but it only takes you 5 minutes to walk to be there or they bring you with the car to the beach. They also serve you breakfast and treat you very well. We really enjoyed our stay with Nid and their team.
