We didn´t really stay at this hostel because when we arrived we were told that there was overbooking and sent us to a place nearby. the new accomodation was very good, though we didn´t like the fact that we were not told of the problem until we were there. they could have emailed me as they had done to confirm my arrival time

Great. We were travelling with our 5 year old daughter and N+D was a good place for a family - friendly and colorful. The location was excellent. We would definitely recommend it.

Although Monica broke her foot right before our stay in the hostel, she still took the time to email me and keep me updated on her status. Her sister took over her duties and was very nice. She left notes on both days apologizing for not being there and had a map with recommendations for good restaurants highlighted. Overall, the staff is amazing and the rooms are clean and secure.

The location is pretty good--walking distance to the major tourist spots and close to the metro and certain bus stops. Monica is nice, as many other reviews have said. She gives everyone an overview of how to get to certain tourist attractions by bus or metro (though I personally just used the map she provided to walk most places) and recommends some restaurants. And is generally nice and helpful.

I stayed 2 nights there and I found it very comfortable. Monica is an unique person and she welcomes all the guests in a very appropriate manner. The b&b is well located, almost 10 minutes on foot from Trevi Fountain and is value for money. My room was a single one and the toilet was just beside it. The breakfast is served in a bar just around the corner and you can choose whatever you want. I certainly reccomend it and for my next trip in Rome I'll consider it.

I stayed 3 nights in December at Night and Days guesthouse. I warmly recommend this place because of the location (every attractive places in Rome are reachable by foot, if you prefer bus stop and metro are very close) and because the host, Monica, is very helpful and nice (she is very obliging and gives a lot of info). Just one remark, for the single room with private bathroom, the bathroom is not adjoining the bedroom. Enjoy your stay in Rome, and thanks again Monica!

Stayed here recently for a week. Monica is amazing! We were a bit distressed when we arrived, as my friend had her bag stolen on our way from the airport, but Monica was extremely understanding and helped us find our way to our embassy. On arrival she say down with us, made a list of her favorite eateries around Rome (very, VERY helpful, given how many tourist-trap restaurants there are around), and also gave us lots of tips on visiting Rome's attractions. Thank you Monica, one day we'll return!

Monica was great She greeted us with a nice welcome and a cup of coffee. She made us an awesome map with all the affordable but good places to eat and gave us great advice on what to see in Rome and how to do it in a day and a half;) Besides her the location was perfect, close to Trevi fountain, the rooms and bathroom were spacious, tidy and clean. So far this is the best place I've stayed at and I would recommend it in a heartbeat!

Excellent central location, walking distance to Trevi Fountain, Spanish steps, Colosseo, Popolo Piazza and shopping area. Easy access to metro and buses. Galleria Nazionale d'Arte Antica just down the road. Spacious, high ceiling room and common area, clean bathroom and kitchen. My host Monica was extremely helpful with recommending local restaurants, sightseeing routs and other useful tips. All in all very enjoyable stay, and would definitely stay here again next time in Roma.

Great place to stay, close to everything including supermarket & chemist. Monica (owner) was awesome, she even had copies of maps ready for us when we arrived with all the must see & eat/drink places marked. Highly recommend. No lockers in room but security was great. Bathroom floor could have benefited from a mop, but overall the place was very clean. For those of you who hate climbing endless stairs to reach your accomodation, don't worry as there is a lift.
