It was awesome! Monica (who owns the place) was very helpful. She sat me down for an hour to tell me all the places I had to visit and when to visit them for just a single day that I was in Rome. She hit everything on the spot, especially when I should arrive at places. The building itself was a little hard to find, but it was very nice. Breakfast was located next door at the restaurant and was good. It is a quieter place, but that was perfect. Rooms are nice, bathrooms too. Highly recommended!

Such a nice host. Monica is so helpful and friendly. She has good advice for what to see, where to eat, and how to get some deals. Location was perfect.

Excellent Location by the Trevi Fountain. I had a late plane arrival into Rome and Monica said that she would wait for me...it didn't matter what time of the night I got in. Upon arrival, Monica greeted me and sat me down with a city map of Rome which she marked recommendations for sight seeing and dining. Her recommendations were outstanding. Monica is so nice. Breakfast included is at a local cafe around the corner. I booked a private single ensuite...terrific room. Excellent location!

A great, friendly, and welcoming hostel! I felt right at home as soon as I arrived with Monica! She is such a warm and friendly person. The rooms were great, with lots of character! The location is perfect, so close to the attractions and city center. I will definitely recommend to others!

Initially I was nervous to stay in hostel's in Europe, but my experiences proved my wrong. Night and Day was one of my favourite hostel's! The atmosphere was extremely homey - I felt as if I was back at school in my apartment. The staff went above and beyond to provide my friends and I with any help that we needed. Monica was a phenomenal host. My stay wouldn't have been the same without her !

I stayed at other hotels in Rome before and this one was definitely the best one. Thanks to Monica, who really made us feel at home.

This was the perfect place for our quick trip to Rome. Monica is amazing and extremely helpful. The map and recommendations she gave were perfect and very, very helpful. We were there for a national holiday, so she let us know what was closed and what we could do instead. We were given our own set of keys (4 keys for access to your room, now that's what I call secure) and the room, entire common area and bathroom was spotless and nice. Monica and NIght and Day are perfect for Rome!

Our stay in Day & Night was perfect. Monica is really nice and helps you a lot with finding the good restaurants, public transportation, and is always available by email if you need anything. Our room was also perfect, no noise or anything, but still 5 minutes walking from Trevi Fountain / Spanish Steps, so right in the center of Rome. Really recommend this one!

Our stay wa great! Monica is very nice, she mapped out restaurants she recommended, and explained in great detail where and what to do in Rome. She tried to meet us every day to make sure we are fine. Breakfast is served at another place, but very friendly atmosphere too. Overall it was a great stay, and i really want to thank Monica!

Monica was a wonderful host: hugely friendly and welcoming, very solicitous about making sure we had everything we needed and giving us lots of tips and suggestions for places to go. The hostel was comfortable, quiet, clean and attractive; also in an good location, near the Trevi fountain and a metro stop. Very good base for exploring Rome.

I had a great stay! Monica is simply great She gave me an overview of the city (the attractions, how to get there, list of restaurants) when i arrived. The flat was quiet, clean and secure and most importantly in great location! I would definitely stay there again

Monica must be the most friendliest person in the world. Although we landed late, she waited for us and provided us with a food map of local recommendations and told us the quickest routes to hit all the sites. She was truly amazing.

Perfect location, you can visit every major attraction by foot. Monica is a one person staff of the hostel who is very social and nice person. It is not a typical hostel, it is more like a small flat and it is clean. Mattress in our room was broken, beds were terrible and you have to walk out of the hostel for breakfast and the breakfast plus the guy who serves it both are terrible and you just get one cup of coffee or tea plus one piece of bakery. BUT location is PERFECT.

Monica was amazing! My boyfriend and I stayed at Night and Day for 9 nights for our spring break. This place is much more like a pension or a hotel than a hostel--nice, spacious and comfortable private rooms, a kitchenette, and a shared bathroom. Very clean, excellent location (we walked everywhere in Rome quite easily) and Monica. She really makes the experience. She was so nice and helpful whether answering our questions or suggesting great restaurants. We will be back!

Night and Day is a perfect place to stay in Rome. Location is very good, decoration is so cute and Monica is a star. She helped us with everything amazingly. Maybe I can mention only one negative thing which was not a big problem for us, but it might be important for some people to know. Double room with private bathroom had a private bathroom (which means noone else uses) but it is not inside the room, just next door.

Terrific. Really lovely place. We had two twins and a private en-suite which meant we ended up with a little apartment all to ourselves. Monica was lovely and texted us with all the information we needed and even sent her sister 'round to let us in and get us settled (who was also lovely). Will almost certainly book in here the next time I'm in Rome. Highly recommended.
