Alex and Baz are amazing hosts, we had so much fun with them!! they took us to the real nightlife in Sofia, we had an amazing evening with them, they cooked breakfast for us!! we highly recommend this place!!! the only bad thing is the owner, he is a very pushy guy but other than that Nightingale hostel is the best place you can find in Sofia to stay, the place is clean, the location is perfect, the staff is super friendly...guys you are always welcome in Frankfurt am Main. vielen Dank!! The staff is exceptional. The owner and his wife are extremely pleasant to deal with and always wishing to help you enjoy your stay in Sofia and Bulgaria. A lot of fun to be there. Great hostel. Thanks to Alejandro and Baz, hostel is being upgraded a lot more. Bathrooms need renovation though. Thanks Mikhail and Sylvia! Nightingales hostel is the worst hostel i have stayed in during my travels. What i booked and what i recieved were completely different. If your going to stay here the criteria on hostelworld doesnt match what you will find. In addition the guy that runs the hostel doenst even now how to get to the bus station, or at least didnt wish to tell us. Nightingales is a fantastic hostel. Mikhail is a great host, highly recommend this hostel. When you book, take down the hostels number and give them a call when you arrive, they will come to the station and pick you up. Mihail is a wonderful host and made us both feel most welcome at his hostel. When we missed breakfast he made us fresh pancakes and was always willing to provide friendly help about his city.
