Amazing time at this hostel! The owners were the nicest and they had tons of information for us about the town. I highly recommend this hostel.

Nikko isn't very large but there's quite a bit you can do there and Sato helped me make the most of the day and a half I was there. He and his wife hosted an okonomiyaki dinner (amazing!) and he drove me and another guest to an awesome outdoor onsen. Incredibly easy to find - it's only a 3 minute walk up from the train station.

The staff was an absolute delight, their friend cooked my friends and I both breakfast and dinner, showed us where to go drinking and drove us to an onsen. Most definitely would recommend this hostel to anyone going through Nikko
