The staff was very helpful and provided a shuttle pick up down by the train station at their other hostel for free. We stored our luggage there visited the sites had a lovely smoothie and shaved ice at their cafe and free shuttle. Better than walking up hill 20 minutes. The had a cook at the hostel who made a reasonably priced meal that was delicious. Thank you!
I really loved this place! Nikko Park Lodge is about a 15 min walk from the train stations (not so bad). If you're lucky and run into him, the hostel owner is very generous with giving a ride to or from the park lodge, but it's not guaranteed, so don't expect that to happen. The shared bathroom and shower are really nice. If you want to do laundry, it's a little expensive I think (1000-yen for washer and dryer), & workers are always walking through, but I still highly recommend this place.
It is a very cozy nice Hostel near the forest. It is pretty far from the train station. There is a shuttle service from their hostel near the train station until 1700. If you are staying for a short time, their location at the train station is probably more convenient. The food was eccellent and the staff super friendly.
Really enjoyed our stay here. We were offered a lift into the train station & given great advice of where to go to get the most of of Nikko. The staff were so nice.

Very relaxing place to stay. It's a bit further outside but the 20 min. walk into town is really nice. Breakfast is okay and plenty. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
