Woah, interesting experience. Not exactly the full capsule life but more one for foreigners. It's super stylish and clean, has a good location and helpful staff. Its a bit "rule-y", but this is Japan and they do like their rules. You can stay for a several days but you have to checkout and in everyday (don't worry you can leave your stuff) so it gets a bit confusing remembering which pod you are in. Wifi works only downstairs, and don't stay there if you don't like black and white decor!

All the things are excellent! It is also a good experience to live in a capsule hotel.

First capsule experience and didnt like it. So cold and impersonal, impossible to meet other people. Men and women even have to use separate elevators! Very expensive too just for a capsule. Good for a Japanese business man just needing a quick place to stay, but not for a traveller looking to meet other people.

This was a unique experience! I ended up staying two nights rather than one. The place makes you feel like you've taken a step into the future. Everything is spotless and the shower facilities are fantastic. The dorms can be very quiet, if the other guests are being considerate. The sleep ambiance system is cool, make sure you set it correctly! I found that the price was cheaper if you show up in person (weekday special & pay by the hour)

Excellent experience and the sleep ambiance machine lets you wake up slowly using light! the only thing invest in the ear plugs as people come and go throughout the night! location is brilliant across from nishi market

Great place to try to "capsule" experience. It's very space-aged and sleek. Clean, big bathroom/change room areas.

Great stay while inKyoto and the staff were the best! A little pricey for a capsule hotel but was an interesting experience! Would stay again...

Excellent location, friendly staff, worth trying just for the sheer experience. The modern design really helps contribute to a sense of space and comfort even within close quarters. Makes a great home base for exploring Kyoto, but probably isn't great for couples staying longer than 1-2 days (you'll be on separate floors the whole time, except in the lobby). Also cool that they have lots of domestic visitors as well as foreign. Minor drawback: sound insulation in capsules could be better.
