Novice Nomad (1)

Nipah Lodge is approx. 45 minutes from Sandakan (by car) and located within the Labuk Bay Proboscis Monkey Sanctuary. To reach the two feeding platforms from the lodge you need to drive 2-5 minutes (gravel road, but 4WD is not necessary). Our chalet at the lodge was spacious, had a terrace, good bathroom and definately provided more comfort than we expected. A pool table and darts can beused/played in the common area and a night walk is offered (extra charge). Dinner and breakfast were good.
