We had a good time here, they have a fulled equipped kitchen and a big supermarket very near, so we were able to cook some meals in the hostel. The staff's very helpful and they made us feel at home, also we had different breakfast each day.

Very, very filthy. My sister awoke from a nap covered in bites and we discovered spiders in the room, along with hair in the shower and dirt in every corner. We couldn't sleep so we booked a hotel and left at 2am. We ran into a staff member and told her why we were leaving and said we would be back to return the keys and get a refund in the morning. When we got back the owner had cleaned out the spiders and asked us to "show her"...good thing I took photos! Wouldn't give us a full refund.

It is weird that you are the only person that complains about the cleanliness and say that there was dirt in every corner, if it have been that way I don't think you would have taken the room in the first place. In the south of Mexico there are a lot of bugs everywhere, even in the most expensive hotel, however the only ones that you can find in a room that might bite you are moquitos, the small spiders that rarely can be find, don't bite. As for the pictures, you never showed them to anyone.
