The staff were really welcoming and friendly, probably the best staff we've come across in Australia. There were a lot of ants crawling around the kitchen so we had to eat out while we were there. There is a free shuttle which takes you to the airport and the city for free, even though it's only a short walk to the lagoon and cbd .

I found the hostel itself quite average (although it was impressively clean) but this was more than made up for by the location and helpfulness of the staff. Would recommend this hostel.

I loved the movie every night, was fun that the hostel showed free movies and you could eat and watch them :)

My only criticism about NJoy is that the beds aren't particularly comfortable, otherwise this is a great hostel. I have stayed here a number of times since booking with Hostelworld. My favourite Hostel in Cairns so far.

Brilliant hostel. We though in a very good location just a short walk to the town and also the supermarket/mall. Staff were very accommodating and helpful with all our questions. They would do everything to help you! Pool looked good but never went in because of the weather good showers! Not too noisy and we could get the wifi in our room which was good too.

Good hostel for that price! 15 Dollar for a 4 dorm room is cheap. The hostel is not far away from the town center, about 10 minutes walk. But there are also free shuttle busses to and from the city every our! They got also a free shuttle bus to the airport.

Very helpful staff, great in helping with booking tours & recommending tours (even prior to arrival!), free/discount evening meal was definitely a highlight

Excellent service. Was picked up from the greyhound coach terminal and was given information about Cairns on the way to the hostel. Check in was a breeze! We were able to get one key between the 3 of us and the friendly staff helped to carry our luggage to our rooms. The receptionist organised my skydive for me in Cairns as it had been cancelled in Mission Beach. Our room was very spacious and clean and tidy!!
