Hotel 161 exceeded our expectations. Great little lounge and bar downstairs and great little eating places just outside. Our room was very comfortable, nice bed linen, spotless bathroom, all well maintained. The carpet in the room was stained and old but this was a minor downside to a very nice hotel. The staff were very friendly and had good English. We enjoyed our stay and would have liked to have stayed longer.

Heard the little shop owner at the alley entrance that the hotel was just newly renovated. The room is clean and tidy, and the location is very good. One staff is specially friendly, he is the one who is tall and wear glasses, in middle body size.

Great hostel at a good location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Clean room. We encountered a minor issue with the bathroom light and it was fixed within 2 days. It will be better if the light was fixed sooner.
