I liked the beds, but please include a wood shelf under the mirrors to keep keys, cellphones and stuff like that during the night.

WE arrived to this hostel around 2 in the morning and got lucky that the staff was still there. It seemed kinda sketch seeing as how the whole bottom floor seems to be more of a bar than a hostel. The room was FREEZING but for the money we paid (13 euros) what more could you expect.

Overall a nice hostel, when just wanting to spend the night there, with the bacis facilities. We were just looking for a place to spend the night as the goal is to see and experience London and for that Hostel 8 is great.

Best deal in London. Spacy spacy spacy place. Space in your big locker, big room, big showers. Huge bar welcoming everybody, big computer room, big kitchen. Great atmosphere. It's perfect if you're coming for a longer stay, and also for a tourist visit, since transport is right at the door, including a tube station, supermarkets, banks, stores.

It was the only hostel in London, where we could stay with a little kid.

The place is horrible! It stinks! It is also very dirty, specially the toilets and shower. The rooms is very noisy, the noise came from the inside the building as well as the outside. I do not recommended. But if you want to pay a cheaper price not matter what ok! The neighborhood looks dangerous!

the charge of £1.00 per bag/suitcase per night to store them downstairs is too expensive, however £1.00 is ok.The showers were no good, only one with hot water and alwais a river on the floor.

ótimo hostel, mas os quartos fedem, em detrimento a falta de ventilação.

BAD PINTS - Small rooms, not very comfortable. Only one shower on 2 floors works good. Traffic noise outside. Internet broadband very slow. GOOD POINTS - Nice pub and friendly. Many computers available included. Fridge for stock foods. Guests friendly.

Stayed with a friend for 3 days, and it was a great stay. Not too far from the Underground, and great facilities. Definitely would use again

this is the best value hostel in london. it is in zone three but dont let that put you off. the tubes are so good that you can be in central london in moments. it also does not cost much extra for a day trip tube ticket that extends to zone three. so its worth it. rooms are nice and private. each bed has its own powerpoint, mirror and a curtian for privacy. each person also gets a MASSIVE locker that you can lock with yout own lock. irec this hostel

I was in the hostel for 5 nights with 4 friends and it was a really good experience. The staff is really cool and friendly. It's not the typical hostel but it's like a youth hostel, in which you can cook your own food in a common kitchen, with common showers (always with hot water) and you can meet a lot of people from different parts of the world (We met italian, irish, french and rumanian, people). It's the best hostel I've ever been If I go London again, I will certainly go to Hostel no 8.

It is far away from center. Facilities are quite dated, and dirty. It was not secure at all- I found my room unlocked at least one time, someone would come in a room (not people who were staying) in a middle of the night. People complained about food, personal belongings, money thefts. No one check your ID during check in, so you get all kind of guests and you might expect anything from them.

It's not the most luxurious place to stay but it's insanely cheap and absolutely fine. I was particularly happy with the fact that every bed has it own reading light and power socket. Location is a bit far from city centre but that didn't bother me. So overall a good experience.

Several unsettling guests (including one being looked for by police), could hear mice in the walls at night. Showers were really hot, which was nice, but not extremely clean.
