Several unsettling guests (including one being looked for by police), could hear mice in the walls at night. Showers were really hot, which was nice, but not extremely clean.

Me and my girlfriend had a private double room with sharing bathroom. If you don't pretent amything special it's a good place where to sleep, it looks like a typical Englan house mixed with a pub, staff is very friendly and it's 2 minutes walking from Dollis Hill underground station and multiple bus stations.

No.8 --> best value for your money you can get in Europe! The location has connections at the door, in a neighborhood with all facilities. The hostel is a brilliant old house with fantastic atmosphere. You get great common areas, a charismatic bar, free internet on 5 PCs, 3 screens, a fully equipped kitchen and inviting sofas on the hallways. Showers are great. The staff is the best: lovely, friendly, you want to hug them. In the rooms, you'll have huge lockers and great beds. Thanks No.8!

An amazing stay at No8 , would recommand to anyone for a short - middle - long stay. The staff is the best you can see in London and the hostel has the best value for money I've ever seen (clean, friendly, wifi, top class facilities).

It has a kitchen, nice bar with a pool table downstairs but it was kinda noisy at night. Besides the location it was ok in overall. Some beds in the 24 bed dorm wasn't comfortable since the ceiling was too close to the top bunk beds.

I stayed in N8 Hostel for five long months and in the overall I finished happy with it. The hostel it's a very good place for long term as it's cheap, has a good kitchen and the staff it's very helpful in every single thing. Also you have computers, bar and a pull table if you want to have some fun, even if the people in there is older than in other hostels. So to be honest, if you're looking for a long stay, in a good situated place and with a nice value for the money, N8 is your deal.

Well, I liked it a lot. I hope I will came back there one time, truly great hostel with young collective, kitchen, clean bedrooms, nice bar with pool. Water was very cold, thats the only disadvantage of the hostel, I hope they can fix it in the future, they told us its only for one day but anyway its really hard not to take shower for 2 days or take it in freezing water.

The location is terrible for a tourist. The security is almost no existent. Feels very old and shady. The desk clerk was great but he can only do what he can with the facility.

First of all the staff of this hostel were really lovely. Unfortunately the hostel itself is not. I stayed in the 25 bed dormitory which was mouldy, smelly & damp and was eaten alive by BED-BUGS! :( I was very grateful when they moved me to a new room - but they charged me £7 pounds to wash and rid my clothes of their bed-bugs. :/ Also, not enough toilets to facilitate the amount of people in the hostel, and the 24 hour door access was broken = poor security! I met a man who's laptop was stolen.

It wasn't spectacular. The room was fine but was pretty annoyed how I had a towel lost there which they seem to have mistaken as theirs. Kitchen was not being clean, when ever I was there at least so I did not use it. Wasn't impressed with how they they charged me a 5 pound surcharge for checking out an hour late. They could have warned me before or at least said this on their website. If these events did not occur, then I think have been a pleasant stay.

there was a mouse in our room, which ate all of our food. the bathrooms were icy because there wasn't a proper window. the showers were ALWAYS cold, and there was so much dirty all around the hostel, especially in the toilets and the kitchen. people were noisy during all the day and all the night. I'll NEVER come back.

Fantastic. I spent 2 nights here. The staff are extremely friendly and the atmosphere was fantastic. The rooms are okay. Not amazing, but you definitely can't complain for the price. Kitchen utilities are great!
