The hygiene was very poor because there were bed bugs in the dormatory and on the wall next to my bed was fungus. Now I've got to scratch for the next three weeks thanks to no. 8 hostel!

very badly organized. first impression was dreadful. rooms were like prison cells, but that's because we were sent to the ground floor. Very noisy- who wants to wake up to music blasting through the whole hostel? Paper thin walls, you can hear everything.

This hostel is perfect value for money, I saw some negative critics and so I was wondering what to expect, but people seem not to understand that they can't get luxury for such a price. Underground station is just a few minutes walk away

The communal kitchen/dining area was a great place to meet new people and hang out.

Beds were uncomfortable, it was draughty and cold inside the rooms. There was only one toilet on each floor and it was very dirty.

Far away, unsafe, disgusting, and they charge you for every little thing This hostel is very far away from ANYTHING. Expect an hour bus or tube ride. The people in here are THIEVES. I heated up food in the microwave and went to the restroom while it cooked. By the time I came back somebody stole it. Literally... with in 5 minutes stolen. Speaking to people, I got the sense that this happens all the time. While I was there many people had items stolen. There was also a HUGE RAT in the kitchen.

I will always recommend the place for any one wishing to take a break from home as the hostel truly reflect a home away from home.

It was freezing cold and humid. They said there is a boiler problem, but I dont believe it as the showers were warmer than expected (though very weak) and the problem was there for weaks people said. In the summer maybe, but at 0 degrees my stay was just horrible!

It's a nice place, cheap and with all commodities. You can reach the center by bus right near to the hostel, the metro is quite near only 15 minutes by walk

Rooms are more like long term customers bedrooms, than hostel rooms. Every shelf/ table space was cluttered. Did not feel comfortable here. Would not recommened this hostel to young females. Staff were friendly.
