Great place to stay. Central location, you can walk easily to the historic center and is in a fun zone to grab a drink, easy to find and very close to the Antón Martín metro stop. SPOTLESSLY CLEAN! Would stay here again definitely.

staff were unhelpful -asked for a restaurant reconmendatio and told to go anywhere because theyre all good. I ended up getting served the worst meal of my life across the street. security boxes in the rooms wete faulty. the breakfast quantity is marshelled like a hawk. the place is designed to make you spend money, with no kitchen facilities not even a water tap and no outside bought alcohol allowed.

Very good and clean hostel, centrally located. The sister hostel (Cats hostel) is nearby for everyone who wants to meet people and start a pub crawl!!

We met some really great people there! And the showers and bathrooms were very clean, the common room was a little small and might get very cramped in busy months. But overall a pleasant stay, a great experience, I would recommend this hostel to those passing throu Madrid.

The room I stayed in felt very open and the bathroom was attached to the room. So as far as that goes, it was the best hostel I've ever stayed in. I also loved the cute Western them. The signs were so funny!

This is a very good hostel. What would make it an excellent hostel? Bigger shower area, glasses and cuttlery in the kitchen and somewhere where to boil water for a tea or coffee. Staff is above average, always helpful and eager to make your stay a good one. The location is superb. I'd cetainly go back.

Had some rowdy people because it's in a great location for partying and coming back at any hour of the morning. My friends and I didn't go out much so that got a bit annoying since we couldn't catch a good night's sleep. However, it was a great hostel with a wonderful location and extremely helpful staff. I would definitely recommend it.

Nice, clean hostel and a good location. The staff were helpful but if you are looking for somewhere to meet other travellers and have some fun/make some noise, this is not the place. Luckily the hostel has a sister hostel close by where it is possible to meet other people and where there is more atmosphere.

(+) location: within walking distance to most of the sites and a metro stop; security: locked lockers and dorm doors, and you have to get buzzed in; breakfast included, warm blankets and great showers! (-) atmosphere: no one was hanging out in the common room, and when they did, they weren't friendly at all: no comfort and no atmosphere; kitchen: worse kitchen than my old college dorm! Not equipped for a hostel of that size. Not friendly for single travellers, so only recommend for a group.

It's a really nice hostel when you are travelling in groups, but not a good one when alone. Because the way the hostel is done does not really make the people meeting. So if you feel lonely already don't go there. However about the security and the cleanliness there is nothing to say, everything nice. The staff is ready to help too.

Is a really clean and nice hostel, with quite a lot of freetime activities in collaboration with an other hostel. The breakfast is not very versatile, but it is enough. I would stay ther again!

This was the best hostel I'v ever stayed.Nice stuff, very clean and thery even offered attractions like guided tours (for free!), tapas tours, pub crawl, etc. They have a cooperation (it's the same owner) with an other hostal, which is really near und there is the main meeting point for all this attractions. I really can recommend to do the tapas tour! :)

This place is not a hostel, it\'s as good as a hotel. One of the best places I have ever lived. 10 star recommendation for everyone.

Sympathique, mais très bruyant ! la véritable auberge de jeunesse, c'est à la fois vivant et cool mais il vaut mieux avoir le sommeil lourd si l'on vient pour visiter et donc se reposer à partir d'1h du matin.

The staff range from unhelpful and out-of-it to downright crabby. When we came in, the lady at reception was bitching about other guests. That night, I went down to ask for a pillow that was missing, and a different lady told me to wait 15 minutes til her shift ended because she didn't feel like getting one. I ask the next guy at reception, wait half an hour, and then come down to find him on Facebook...they do the bare minimum here.
