I had a single room for 2 nights.The room was bright with big windows looking out over the back yard.Unfortunatly the standard of cleanliness was not really up to par with the other NZ hostels I have stayed in. There was dog hair (from the huge and slightly unfriendly yellow dog) absolutly everywhere- in the carpet, on the funiture,in the kitchen, all through my bed.There was also a good deal of dust and the room needed a good hoovering. I loved the homely feel of the hostel. They have pets, a piano, themes for the rooms and the building itself is beautiful. Faster internet would be useful (global gossip maybe?)
