My sister and I travelled for 10 days through New Zealand and Noah's Ark was one of the best hostels we stayed at... very clean, friendly, good location and great value for money. We can definitely recommend it!

Good place to stay in Greymouth. The house is historical style. I like it.

Cute hostel with animal themed rooms. We arrived late and the manager was very accommodating. The beds were comfy but the springs on the beds weren't very tight. I though the person above me was going to fall through! Minor quibble though and we really enjoyed our stay.

Highly recommended! Our room was large, beds are comfortable! Large windows, very light... No noises and unpleasant smells. The best thing about the place - funny decoration and style. I absolutely loved it!

I wish I could stay in this hostel longer! it's really a cool hostel! One unhappy thing is that we juz found the reception guy charges us the full amount though we have paid the deposit! So bear in mind when you check in!

Really lovely backpackers. Playing board games in front of a roaring fire with a dog at your feet is just what you need for a cold winter night. Location is excellent too, about 5 minutes from the train station if you're doing the tranz alpine (which you should).
