promising reviews are from people who probably stayed in private rooms? we arrived at the time but no one was there except the cleaner who had to call someone (just told cleaner to show our room) our 6 bed turned out to be off the reception room/ front yard, the old guy (owner?) had friends over during evening/night in which we frequently had them coming in to use our toilet and then even slept in our room. there were young guys who worked there too, they slept in reception and got up late.

Good location, a few blocks from Taksim square. Close to the Tophane metro station which leads around the city. Great facilities. Well maintained rooms and kitchen. The staff is top notch, they handled a situation with a crazed-Taiwanese girl with class!

Staff was good when they were awake. Full dorm of nice guests. Limited resources but great location. Bed was decent and heater worked great.

Staff was not there at any time

Decent hostel in the center of Istanbul. The washroom in the dorm is very small. The dorm is big but has only few plugs, comfy beds, noisy wooden floor. The breakfast is fine but is served a bit late (9am).

Lovely, friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere that made the stay very enjoyable. The rooms are great and the location is perfect for those wishing to see what modern Turkey has to offer, or to shop.

A lovely hostel close to the action but away from the noise. Staff were very friendly and our private room was small but clean and cosy, with a view of Galata tower from the window. Breakfast was simple but tasty and free tea and coffee are available in the kitchen downstairs. No common room for guests to hang out in but there are table outside when the weather is good. Great value for money.

I really enjoyed my stay at your hostel! I was especially thankful that you let me take a shower even after I had checked out. We really loved the rooms and the people we met at the hostel. I would recommend getting bathroom rugs or mats, or providing other slippers for the rooms. This was maybe the only real issue I could see. I had no other negative experiences, and I hope to come back again! I really thank you for making our weekend very comfortable.
