A memorable stay in Nobel Hostel, It was more than my expectation, specially the staff attitude and cooperative really admired me. We had a wonderful time over there.Breakfast was also very good and location is just in heart of major attractions. At winter it is cold in rooms.

I was exceptionally pleased with the place; both of the guys who were working while I stayed were very accommodating. For example allowing me to use a locker even though I had already checked out the same for allowing me to grab a quick shower before my fligt. The breakfast was also just great, a really good spread and variety of food (eggs, veggies, cereals etc) included in the price of the hostel. When I go back I will certainly stay there again.

Excellent hostel, aside of the Blue Mosque and very near to St. Sophia. Great room, very clean, highly recommended!

Perfect location !!!

A good hostel by a good price.

The hostel itself is great - good beds, showers, breakfast, location etc. Its just that the staff didn't really seem interested and there wasn't really a social atmosphere to meet other people.

As some others have said, your hostelworld booking will probably be lost, so just hope things are not too busy. The staff may then try to use this missing booking to mildly suggest that your room is quite a bit more expensive than when you booked, perhaps the same figure paid in euros instead of lira, but this can gently be brushed aside. Istanbul can be like this. Hostel clean, breakfast good, great location, rooftop area for chilling out. Besides some hiccups a good hostel.

As always a very good place to stay in Istanbul. Heartly an warmth welcome. With plenty of help and advice for your stay and further holidays.

The rooftop terrace is a great place with a very nice overview! Good relation of price and performance in that place. Breakfast was really ok.

Lovely hostel in a great location close to Blue Mosque, Ayia Sofia etc in safe area even at night. Good breakfast set us up for the day starts at 8.30am but we would have prefered it to have been earlier so we could get going. Big, clean rooms with comfortable beds. Go onto roof terrace for photo of mosque lit up at night and view over sea of Marmara. Would definitely stay again. Good restaurants nearby. Great price for Istanbul. Everything we needed at a good price inc heating and hot water!!!

Excellent Hostel, there was a mix-up with our reservation, so we had to change the room once, but that was no problem. The kitchen is not very well supplied, but no one except us seemed to have an interest in using it, so it's not really necessary. The free breakfast is very good, altogether a great place to stay.

Good position for seeing a lot of the famous sites or nearby to a tram to get to other parts of the city. The staff range from very good and able to help, to a lot of shrugging and no answers. Although they mention that there is a restraunt attached I felt the staff there were happier to get rid of the backpackers rather than see us sitting there. The lockers are good, all rooms lock, the toilets were for the most part rather clean.

Despite concerns expressed in previous reviews, we booked a night at Nobel due to its location/price. Sure enough, they didn't have a room for us when we arrived. After travelling for 12 hours, this was rather annoying. 'The guy had a day off, so we didn't check the reservations' the pathetic excuse we were given. They found another room for us about ten minutes away. The leery and sneery teen at the desk did not help our mood (though his colleague was fine).

We have really enjoyed our days in Istambul and in the hostel. People from hostel VERY NICE, everything perfect. The only bad thing are the floodings in the toliets.
