The 6 bed dorm room was very small and crowded, also smelled very mouldy. The bathrooms ( which were located outside the building) were extremely dirty. So I voiced my concerns to the staff and he still charged me for the night, I think leaving for reasons of cleanliness is reason enough to not have to pay. I don't expect much from hostels, but the toilets must be clean! Very disappointing.

The location is good. Not far from the bus station. Wifi is only available at Hall, poor signal in room. The staff here is horrible, be careful about them when they recommend you some trips or balloon.

Very fun stay. Good location and good breakfast. Very informative on the activities in the area and how to get around. The one disadvantage was water took a while to get warm.

The showers were located outside and water was solar heated which means no sun = no hot water. That said the common room at the hostel was really great. There were free hot drinks all day long and great (Turkish style) couch area. It was possible to buy soft drinks only, but the hostel staff said it was no problem to buy beer outside and bring it to the common room (which we did). Breakfast was nice, prepared individually so it was fresh. Next to bus station. Only minus about room: no lockers!!

Spotty wifi unless in common room, inconsistent hot water, decent breakfast. Room did not appear to be fully cleaned; only one blanket in winter (no heat, had to ask for space heater). Staff quickly became confrontational when we stated that they had overcharged us... they alleged that they didn't receive the 10% deposit fee and that Hostelworld got that fee, not them. We told them we're gold card members and that's not true but they insisted. Also, the airport shuttle they booked never came.

The staff was very helpful and nice always. They organized a private balloon tour for us that costed the same as a normal flight with 20 people. Breakfast was good and the rooms were clean and big. Showers had hot water but were outside. I had a great stay here and would definitely recommend this place!

Great staff couldnt do enough for us. Picked us up from the bus station after a a overnight bus and were very helpful with tours and eating reccommendations. Endless tea and coffee and magnificent views of the town. Highly reccommend, great value for money.

Our stay at Nomad Cave was wonderful. The staff was extremely helpful and the breakfast was really good too. The rooms were really nice, it was warm and comfortable. Private rooms have their own bathroom inside of the room and are very affordable. Nomad made our stay in Goreme even better than we thought it could be!

First, the bathrooms are outside the room and in the winter the pipes freeze over. Also, the owner (?) recommended expensive balloon tours to us. I knew someone who had a cheaper hot air balloon ride and when I mentioned the company name the owner told us that the balloon company had accidents/is not well organized etc, which was not true at all. My assumption is that he did not work with the company and hence, did not get commission and did not recommend it. Location is fine + good breakfast.

Nomad Cave Hotel is a familu-run business. People there are very kind and nice. I lived in a dormitory and it was warm and clean. You can stay in the reception at night, have hot drinks and talk to the people. They are very nice. There is wi-fi but hard to receive it in my room. The location is very good, just near the center of Ğoreme. The breakfast is sımple but ok. They offer tour and balloon flıght as well.

The complete lack of security in this hostel was disconcerting. My room could not be locked and was on the side of the hostel facing the street without even being in sight of the front desk so no one was watching it ever. In addition the showers were located outside and were very cold making showering a very unpleasant experience.

Owner Comment (Show)
Dear our guest; We have 7 securirty cameras at the hostel and we are always staying at the here. Also in mix dormitory there is a key behind the door and our guests can lock their door at night. If our guest need to keep their important things; at the reception we have safety boxes and they can use it for free!

Great character, good facilities/services, handy location. Staff are helpful with people turning up earlier than check-in and leaving later than check-out. In our experience reception closed before midnight, which is fine but also meant we could only use the internet until then since the WiFi is not available in some rooms (including ours) and the only public computer is in reception. You will need to go outside to snag some signal in the wee hours. Light sleepers: there is a minaret nearby

Great place to stay with a perfect location. Little cold in e winter but overall we loved it during our stay.

Being here in winter it was a little cold. The common room could use another heater. Breakfast is good, the big dorm we stayed in was warm and the beds were comfy. The staff are helpful when you talk to them, but won't offer information unless you ask. The little guy who works here is very cool and so is the kitten. Yes the bathrooms are outside, but it's a super short walk and they are clean.

This hostel is an average one, the breakfast is fantastic, the beds are very comfy and it is generally quite clean. Although the showers are outside and getting hot water is like flipping a coin. The staff are mostly quite cold aand dont speak very good english and spend most of their time playing card games in the common area so you feel like youre interrupting when you want to use the intenet or hang out. Bit of a weird one-keep looking around i'd say.
