I really liked this hostel! We were just here one night, but the staff was very friendly and helpful. The hostel itself had more of a traditional vibe to it which I enjoyed, and the outdoor bathrooms were nice (enclosed, separate rooms. Don't let it scare you off! It's not an outhouse). Wish we had more time here-it seems like an awesome area and there was a lot to see/do.

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff ready to help when around. Heated floor makes rooms cosy. Really cool traditional style house, close to all the main things to see in Gyeongju. Bathroom is outside but nice showers. A shame towels aren't provided but can be rented. Breakfast is toast with jam. Would probably stay again.

It's very cozy place to stay while touring around the KyungJu. It fits the theme of Oldness and so on.

It was a nice place to stay. Very clean. A little out of the way and the shower wasn't great but really good stay.

Problem areas: `1. The toilet & showers, while clean, are located outside. 2. No doors (incl. the front gate) are ever locked. Pros: 1. Located really close to the Intercity & Express bus stations, as well as to some of Gyeongju's major attractions. 2. Nicely designed on the outside as well as on the inside. There's the option for Korean-style sleeping arrangements (w/ heated floors). 3. Free bread, jam, coffee & tea. 4. Not crowded. 5. The owners have a super-friendly dog!
