We had a great time at the Nomad. It is really close to the rail station and near by all the attractions. They laundered all of our clothes for us in just two hours and had a good breakfast. Their tv room is cool, and it has a free computer. We watched a futball games with two German girls and drank Corona from the bar.

This hostel is big, many rooms. The building is old and so are the rooms and the bathrooms. It seemed a bit dirty in the bathrooms. Has a nice kitchen and a great place to hang out, inside and out.

I was surprised how nice and clean this hostel was. There was a nice sitting room and bar where we could buy couple of beers and meet other people. The location is perfect , its 5 minutes to the railway station and the center of the town as well.

Massive bathrooms with baths. Free WiFi :-) very small lockers and not in rooms, but 24 hour staff were willing to put things into storage. Nomad need to advertise that it's very close to Queen St station, as Cardiff Central station is further away. Nice quiet street

Good in general but I would have like the guy at the reception to help me with information about the city. He couldn't recommand nice places or help with the area, which was quite disapointing...

The place was really nice but it was not as close to the city centre as advertised in the information a hostelworld.com Besides, although the toilets and bathrooms were very nice, they were quite dirty and untidy, wet and not one flush worked properly. The kitchen is too small for so many people having breakfast at the same time. The staff was excellent. I don't know why the heat was not working and, when I asked about it, the man in te reception brought a heater to our room.

Lack of Security. Hostels are meant to take rest in night and sleep in peace. However, it was totally opposite in my case.

Very friendly staff. A common room with TV and books is a nice change from regular bar-like places. Clean, big, comfortable bathrooms, with hot water and really decent showers. However there aren’t too many of them, I imagine there would be a problem if the hostel was fully booked. There is a small backyard and a table outside. The location could be better, it is a bit of a walk from the centre and it is very hidden, it took me ages to get there!

Nice building, inside an adapted rowhouse. A little bit crowded on the first floor, but lots of good stuff fit into the space - kitchen, internet, bar, eating area, lounge. Good price and a moderate breakfast included and put out in the morning. About 15-20min walk from Cardiff Central Rail Station. Did the trick.

Would definitely stay at this hostel again. Not too far of a walk from the train station or from some of the sights, showers were hot, rooms were very clean, staff was friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that the lockers weren\'t big enough for my laptop.

We love this place. Clean toilet and bath room and nice staff. However, one of our bed mattress is very uncomfortable to sleep on -- we can feel the bed frame when we lying on the mattress.

Beds were hard and creeky, location not bad but would prefer closer and pay a few quid more. Early morning being woken up by people fixing stuff outside our room.

Good enough in the overall. Located in a small street, nobody knew this place, except the tourist information center. So print out the map, especially if you arrive by night. Nice staff, good facilities. Breakfast ok. Very quite area. For the bad points : old mattress, bunk beds very shaky. Not enough bathroom for everyone, so wake up early if you want to have a shower. The reception should ask for a deposit instead of an id, because many bars and clubs also require to show your id to get in.
