Very well situated in the heart of Airlie. Great people, Great staff, was a very well priced hostel, will definitely recommened to friends and family. And will be back some time so soak up somemore of what Airlie has to offer. Thanks guys and girls.

There were some guys making a lot of noise at 2 o'clock at night, screaming from the top of their longs. Maybe it's a good idea to keep an eye on the people in the hostel too.

Average hostel with a good location. Kitchen was very poorly equipped and dirty. Staff was not really motivated but the 8-bed dorms had 2 showers.

Lovely location ad setting with the pool to relax by but our room when we stayed was dirty especially the bathroom. The kitchen was filthy and no utensils to cook with which was disappointing as we enjoyed the vibe in the hostel - the bar and kitchen could do with being open later!

The hostel is quite nice, but I seldom saw such an unfriendly staff. It seems to me, that they dont like their job at all and thats not a good basis for this job, on which you are supposed to be nice to every guest.

Nomads Airlie Beach is a great hostel and good value for money. The only downside was that the bar was never open but they still advertised that they have the cheapest jugs in town. Still, a great place to spend your nights.

the staff was not around hour lineups for check in with only one or two people at the desk while 40 people wait in lines on a daily basis the cleaning of the room was emptying the garbage the toilets and shower were not cleaned once in 4 days, people who reserved 6 bed dorms were given 10 bed dorms and told they were better than a six because "they would be more of a party" the second room i was put in was a lot cleaner than the first but still only emptied garbage as a clean.

Enjoyed my stay. One problem was that tv at the bar was left on all night, even though there wasn't anybody there. The staff were however very good, the place was clean. There's a great atmosphere.

Very commercial hostel including the staff. Bed was not clean when I arrived, charging for internet $4 per hour or $8 per day for Wifi. The camping between the cabins looks a little bit shabby with all the vans. Worst hostel my whole trip in Australia.

We stayed at a 6 person dorm for 3 nights. The building where we had our room was totally awful with ants walking on the tables and on the walls and I bet there was a bit of mould on the seiling... The beds made terrible noise when you turned your side asleep and 3 out of 4 lamps were broken. Also the toilet and floors had not been cleaned since I don't know when. I would not recommend Nomads on Airlie Beach to anyone I like !

How is this place a top rated hostel? The kitchen was filthy, bins overflowing, ants all over the crockery, appliances not working, instructions for appliances incorrect, old food on the floor & if swept just left in a pile against the wall. Our key lock never worked (or anyone else's in the room) & we were always getting locked out. The staff were rude to guests, didn't really care about the place or know what to do. They never attempted to fix the lock GIVE THIS PLACE A MISS

The rooms were very clean but the bathrooms and the kitchen were disgusting we could even cook in there because it was so gross

the staff were really unhelpful and ignorant! they had major attitude problems and were drunk majority of the time. the rooms were nice enough but very basic . location was good right in the centre on airlie beach , and the bar next door is the place to be :)

The living areas within the hostel are great and modern but the overall facilities were poor. Kitchen was dirty and small. Not enough fridge space for all guests. The utensil deposit was annoying and only having 2 pans and no dryers in operation was a joke! Pool nice though.

I got in a room, 21, which was not cleaned and smelt really bad. There was a bottle of beer open, tomato ketchup on the kitchen counter and beds were not made. It smelled horrible in there, absolutely not a place to stay! I did get another room after complaining to the staff (that room was ok), but I didnt get an apology or anything. The staff overall didn't look interested in their guests and seemed rather annoyed when people came with questions.

Only spend one night here so I can't say anything about the atmosphere but the rooms were clean and spacious and the location is great :)

A very nice place to stay but a bit pricey for the private rooms. Only stayed one night but it was a great, large room with TV, air-con etc so couldn't complain. If it was a bit cheaper then we would've stayed for the other 2 nights also.
